Pretty expensive to get in and most zoos are honestly pretty sad. A lot of the animals weren't out and I felt really bad for the Orangutans, they looked sad. My daughter had fun but also felt bad for the Orangutans. Also having to pay for parking is ridiculous since you're already paying to be there...

This zoo is a win from top to bottom. Wonderful animals, clean, great layout, and easy to walk around. The landscape is an inspiration and the natural beauty of Oregon is all around you. No concrete jungles here. The zoo deserves credit for bringing the outdoors alive and retaining the best of the l...

I've been going here since I was a kid and now I bring my child. Its always fun and I love the new elephant area. My only complaint is the parking lot. Its shared with the childrens museum so trying to find a good spot is rarw unless you follow somone about to leave. Best time to go is right when i...

We attended the Weird Al Yankovic concert this last Sunday. It was cold and damp and wasn't going to be a very pleasant experience. My wife's foot was in a cast, and a zoo worker noticed that and asked if we'd like to be moved down into the "ADA" area. We accepted, and they took us down, found us...

Thought we were in 5 o'clock traffic all day. No real flow through the place. I think I saw the giraffes, a condor and not much else there was active.
I would recommend going through a national geographic before wasting your money here.

Parking was 8.00$ For the whole day or 2 a hour.
You can download parkingkitten to pay for it if you don't have a card or change(they do make you pay with quaters). There was a lot people. The walk ways are pretty narrow. There were 3 different play spots for kids. I got a beer for 8.00 and wine wa...

I felt like I was going to have a lot more fun then I actually did. The displays were somewhat disturbing. Seeing the elephant trapped. Especially the eagles. It made me sad. Idk if they were born in captivity or not and that matters....but if you allow the ticket person too see your ebt food card e...

The Oregon Zoo is amazing. They have plenty of knowledgeable staff that make day to day operations run smoothly. There are currently a few exhibits closed down due to renovation, but it's still a fun place. Lots of educational things for kiddos and adults alike. There are plenty of food options and ...

Making the Zoo a completely ONE WAY path due to Covid is a very smart choice. However there was still a few bottlenecks in caves that make social distancing impossible. Still it was awesome to watch the elephant caretakers feeding the elephant!

The new elephant area is great! Lots of area for them to roam and do things. There are several exhibits that are closed due to construction of new exhibits so it will be really nice when it's all completed in 2020. It seems that the amount of animals per exhibit have gone down. It would be nice...

Love this place! Finally got the chance to go. Really great parking, relatively good priced too, you can also pay with an app.

You can order and print tickets ahead of time! Kids under 2 get in for free, so just had to pay for Wife and I to go, and our kiddos got in free.

Its certainly not a h...

We attended one of the zoo's discounted evening events. Not all the concessions were open, but we had access to the entire zoo, and there was an open field with booths and live music. The polar bear was one of the no-shows, having already retired for the night, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Every time we come here we discover something new. The food is great, the staff is knowledgeable, and it's always fun. You can tell the animals are very loved and well taken care of. I enjoy learning more about each individual animal that lives here. I wish there were more signs telling us the names...
