Local muscle damaged my couch, ripped the upholstery, busted through the dry wall in the hall ways of the building I was moving out of, and never responded to my many phone calls and emails about the experience. I've moved three times with Local Muscle and my first two experiences were wonderful, but my 3rd move was bad and was never rectified by the company. The team they sent was unprofessional. In advance of the move I had informed the contact person at Local Muscle that my couch would not fit through the stairwell, it had to be lifted out through the porch, so that they would know to be prepared for that. When they showed up I re-informed them about this, but they ignored the information and attempted to force the couch down the front hallway. They busted through the drywall, ripped through the upholstery on the couch, and continued to try and shove it through until I forcefully had to request that they stop damaging the property. The couch ended up going out the front porch like I had initially instructed, but the damage was already done. They sent someone back a few days later to "repair" the drywall but did a poor job and left the hall covered in drywall dust. The landlord was very displeased with the damage. Local Muscle claimed they would follow up with me to correct the damage to the couch, after many phone calls their "manager" contacted me and said he would get a repair quote for fixing the upholstery on the couch. He never contacted me again, and after many more phone calls and e-mails over months and months, I was repeatedly told someone would contact me and they never did. I hesitated in writing this review because I don't like to leave negative reviews but this experience was really unfortunate!
