I've been here a couple of times this year, once to see COC's The Nightingale and once to see COC's Hadrian. This building is absolutely gorgeous. My experience was made even better by the fact that Hadrian was phenomenally mesmerizing, but that takes nothing away from the stunning beauty of the arc...

What a beautiful place. The outside is a bit drab but the inside takes your breath away and makes you feel welcome which is great when you're there to see a show, you want to be comfortable which the seating is and you want to enjoy the overall experience which we did.

Saw the Alice in Wonderland ballet show.

The place is gorgeous, it was all of 6 or 8 minutes away from Union Station by the subway.

The set design was out of this world and the story of Rusalka was refreshing compared to modern stories. I also ran into a few friends ins...

Nutcracker was amazing. New and inventive ways of telling the story. Cool technical effects. The box seats were definitely worth it and as always the concession was expensive. The honeycomb is made from the bees they keep on the roof and is so yummy.

Beautiful location to see a performance. We saw The Nutcracker and it was wonderful. The seats are spacious and the reception area is large with floor to ceiling windows that offer nice views of University Avenue. Food and drink is not permitted in the theatre.

One of the few buildings in Toronto that has incredible architecture that uses lighting and glass to make it very special. I've been here a few times for industry events, and the lobby area transforms into a great area to socialize. - A Richard Trus review

We saw the Nutcracker at Christmas with seats around the pit. Not too sure what to call these seats but there were six people to a box. What a set up. If you want drinks or food be sure to pre order as it's a quick collection at intermission. We felt sorry for everyone who hadn't thought ahead.

I have had an exciting experience here. Pleasant facilities, spectacular stage, perfect stage equipment, great orchestras and actors. Thanks to them, I had a fantastic time.
Especially, the tenor of Rodolfo Station was amazing (what I saw was Puccini's La Boheme)
In Canada, we saw the first opera,...

What a beautiful venue! We saw a spectacular performance of The Nutcracker on December 31st! A special Mother and Daughter outing to end 2019. Give yourself some extra time if you have mobility issues, there are no restrooms on the ground floor.

Admittedly, I m biased because I work here, but this is one of the best theatres in North America for grand synthetic productions such as opera and ballet. The acoustic isolation between the stage and the outside world (the whole building literally floats!) makes it a whole special world for the app...
