It is at a per fect location right next to the huge tree decorated for Christamas. The staff is very nice and the food is pretty good too.

Quite possibly the rudest staff I ve ever met. The blonde running the front desk, she was terribly rude.
We went to a wedding at the Nassau Inn. The venue was beautiful, right next to the Princeton University campus. Hospitality and food was excellent. It was a wonderful place for a wedding.
Went for a wedding. Nice place but nothing special.
A little expensive for what you get but you can't beat being in the heart of Princeton.
Dinner and drinks after a football game; great service and delicious food even during the post-game rush.
...a place of Historical interest, we had a most interesting conversation with a good bit of the staff. We found out many local facts, and were made to feel welcome. The Yankee Doodle room with its' Norman Rockwell mural, and the photographic wall of fame for Princeton grads was informative and en...
Overall, the accommodations werr very good. However, I thought the service was a little lacking. The front staff was mostly made up of young individuals who seemed unwilling to help you, even if you were struggling with luggage and a small child. For me, the lack of service makes the hotel not worth...
Extremely racist! I went for breakfest; I was sitting next to white people that ordered similar to what I did but our plates, server, everything was completely different. Their plates looked beautifully prepared while everything on mine looked like it was just thrown on my plate. Servers asking me h...
Great historic institution of the town of Princeton, feeling distinctly of a past era (though not quite far bygone). The accommodations are suitable but not delightful, the hotel itself is starting to feel old, and there are no modern amenities to speak of (no in room refrigerator, no workout room, ...
The burgers we're delicious. Service was good, but my mom found a hair in her fish. They gave us the meal for free, but we won't order it again.
Satisfactory, well sized rooms and comfortable accommodations. Room service was fantastic.
The bartender was very accommodating. The food was better than I expected. We were there for a luncheon in honor of my nephew who had just made his first communion. The staff was professional and more than happy to accommodate the needs of some of the folks in the group who had special dietary needs...
***I just spoke with Nick Ballas and he was able to have our reservation cancelled and our card will be credited the full amount. I am happy that there was a resolution to this, as I feel as if we gave them plenty of time. I appreciate Nick's friendly and quick help in assisting me once I heard back...
Service is poor and they charge for internet...who does that nowadays?!
A clean place, Attentive, helpful and above all very reliable people.
Really old rooms with cracked paint. Later I learnt there are rooms that have been updated. Maybe that would be better.
There is no mini bar in the room, not even water. Matress was uncomfortable.
Reception personnel was kind and also fast. Food from the restaurant is good enough.
Convenient location, the Inn could use some updating. Rooms are small and dim, though clean. Beds are comfortable. The Yankee Doodle Tap Room is a disappointment. Underwhelming food, and the beer list - while extensive - had a lot of bad to mediocre beer on it. The Rockwell mural behind the bar is c...
In case you don't feel like reading my whole review, here's the quick version: housekeeping stole one of my medications and management hasn't done anything about it (though I bet they will coincidentally follow up as soon as this review goes live).
Here is the long version. I stayed at the Nassau...
Cozy historic hotel, comfortable beds and nice amenities. Would definitely stay here on a return visit to Princeton University.
Nice place and interesting to wonder with in a month.
Very nice beds and bathroom. The shower can be a bit confusing at first but isn't too difficult to figure out. The wifi works pretty well. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, making the food situation a little difficult. It's important to not plan on having leftovers that need to be ...
Went to the bar, got a coffee with pumpkin Irish cream in it, enjoyed myself and the atmosphere
Accommodations are not modern but not outdated. Food, social space are top notch. The Tap Room is spacious and surprisingly happening.
This was astonishingly one of the filthiest rooms I have ever stayed in. In the three days that I stayed here, the bed linens were only replaced on the first night. The bedsheets, in fact, were threadbare and yellowed and smelled like dried-on sweat. I found bluish mold around the bathroom sink fauc...
Historical, beautiful, well maintained with good food, drinks and service.
Wonderful classic Thanksgiving at a place with history almost dating back to the original.
We stayed new years eve and the front desk people are very friendly. The room was very comfortable. Check out the bar. We had a before dinner drink at the bar and it is so cozy. A tiny little thing.
Very nice place. Great part of town. Clean areas.
Phenomenal food, service, and drinks.
This is a great place for date night or hanging out with friends or even as your first experience out since the pandemic.
Historic hotel in downtown Princeton. It's extremely expensive
I am disappointed. I was told this would be the place to stay. And while it is conveniently located and the staff is great, the room was a let down. Also one service that would be appreciated is of breakfast at least as room service. This review does not allow for video, but the shower head and wate...
Nestled near the Hallowed Halls of Princeton University
Went for a wedding and the entire experience was great. Staff was helpful and kind.
Our bartender was so nice and the carrot cake is to die for.
Love it here, great selection of beers and even better atmosphere.
Went for a job as a bellman there it seemed the surroundings are nice alot of places in Princton to take guests if this is such a place.
I was there visiting some old friends and was very pleased with the welcoming atmosphere that added a nice touch to our catching up.
Great dining in a venue that's obviously been a fixture in Princeton, in one way shape of form, for decades (centuries?).
We have stayed here quite a few times, mostly out of convenience. The proximity to the colleges and Princeton University is the inn's best attribute. The rooms are small and the service ok so if you are looking for 4 star comfort, then you are going to have to drive across to Rt 1. It is a little pr...
Spent two nights. First night woken at 4.45 am by the sound of watering pouring out of an electrical fixture in the ceiling. Called reception and maintenance came by and said it was a leak... Nothing else. Called again and asked for bucket as carpet was getting sopping wet. Spoke to reception desk i...
Cozy. Great drink selection. Nice atmosphere - great for a more casual, smart hangout
Nice place for a draft beer, but be prepared to pay more than you'd expect.
We went there for a event associated with Pi day. The event rings were very spacious and decorated in keeping with the style of the town. The white experience was pleasent. Their location is also very nice. In the cc enter of Palmer Square.
Always go here for drinks, they have a great selection of beer.
The Inn doesn't offer free wifi. How could a hotel charge for wifi separately in this day and age?
This hotel will fleece you with their "non-refundable" bookings and poor service.
1. When we lived in Princeton,we booked a guest into this hotel in 2018 who asked for the porter to bring her back to the lobby. Not only did they fail to do that, they charged her for an extra night for "leaving a ...
Great location, but the free internet was very spotty in my room
I dropped by for dinner because the building is historic and interesting. I ordered the Princetonion burger and it was fantastic. The downside was a lack of service. My waiter wasn't rude, just unfriendly and inattentive. I know he can do better. In a town with so many choices, service must be much ...
Very nice hotel. The suite is significantly better then simple room
Have stayed here in the past. However, I was just here the weeks so for a meeting. It was great!
Amazing historic inn, great place to hold special events and receptions. Love the Yankee Tap Room tavern
Great service and as a whole, great stay so far. From nice and clean, great location right in the middle of Princeton.
Nice accomodations in a great location. Staff was very helpful, made the stay even better.
Rooms are nice and spacious however for the price they charge they provide cheap amenities such as low quality (rough) facial and toilet tissue, wifi that is extra charge (really) tired carpets in the hallways (stretch or replace), thrown together room decor and an overgrown front facing Palmer Squa...
Historic Inn with plenty of Princeton memorabilia located in the heart of Palmer Square, classic tap room and adequate amenities
I went for a quick bite and a drink at the Yankee Doodle Restaurant. This place has such great ambiance and personable staff To Help you navigate it's rich history. Our server, at our request, explained the history to us. I would recommend.
Attended a party hosted at Nassau Inn and was very impressed. Food and service was excellent, and hotel itself is beautiful. Somewhat difficult to get to if you aren't used to navigating Princeton, however.
Wonderful stay for our Anniversary. Staff was great and room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.
It was a beautiful, convenient, and small hotel in Princeton, NJ. I found it a very convenient hotel because it's in the heart of downtown Princeton.
