Never do this. Truly atrocious experience. Lifelong vegetarian, found a piece of meat in what was supposed to be a vegetarian omelet not just once but even a second time. Not acceptable to make this mistake once but did it twice. Owner barely did anything to make it right. Appalling

Dinner comfortable and warm. Comfortable benches. Polk Street is well served by bus and quite busy. We eat good American breakfasts (pancakes and french toasts etc ...) and the dishes (soups salads burgers) are cooked on site. Excellent soup of the day.

Nice, clean quiet place. Had the combo breakfast. Consider it like Denny's on steroids and much better. Tasty bacon, and huge thick pancakes with maple butter (best to ask for extra) and smooth maple (real) syrup. The coffee was a bold flavorful organic Peruvian blend. Well worth the visit.
