Organizzazione davanti alle opere principali INESISTENTE. Lasciano i turisti a farsi fare le foto invece di gestire un corridoio come accade in tutte le altre città europee. Il cibo è carissimo, senza una qualità del cibo paragonabile.. Vergognoso !!
Everything is very beautiful and well highlighted. Not to be done with young children. There is a lack of a day care centre with facilitators to be able to leave the children safe and enjoy their visit (as an adult).
It's really worth it even for the sake of popular culture! Last time I went there I followed the "Beyonce Jay Z trail" from their official website and had a lot of fun. Go for Mona Lisa as soon as you get in if you want to get a chance to see her up close.
So big- so much to see so don t expect to see everything in a day. Stunning art- if you want to see the Mona Lisa, go early in the morning before the queues get extremely long. Also because of covid restrictions there is a one way system in some places making getting around a bit more tricky, so may...
A must visit place if you are in Paris. The museum was very busy and it s a highly popular tourist attraction with many people coming mainly to view the Leonardo de Vinci Mona Lisa which is located on Floor 1. Ticket prices cost 15 per person at the time of visiting which was great value and well...
Only scratched the surface during my first visit but that scratch was like a greatest hits of timeless works of art. This has to be a contender for the greatest museum of all time.
Great Museum I have ever visited. It wasn t crowded overall except the MONA LISA.The beautiful museum was very well arranged and the underground shopping area as well.If free to enter the Ground level and you have to pay for the ticket fare. Beware of the fraud people outside the museum.Don t buy ti...
Apart from the usual reviews saying how great it is and what you can see there, be prepared for a lot of walking, it is massive! Huge it maybe, but there is so much to see, very interesting place. Top tip; take a map! As almost everyone gets lost in there! Also take some bottled water.
Amazing place, you must visit I recommend to plan a whole day for it starting from morning till afternoon. Because there is so many interesting arts, antiques and view.
Great place. But very long queue to the museum. You can carry laptop or camera inside. Better to book ticket online before hand. Free for students and people under 26. Carry your id for free entry for students and if you are under 26.
One of the most popular museum in the world. 15 Euro for entrance or 17 Euro if you buy it online. Definitely worth it. We waited around 1,5 hour to buy a ticket. It s closed on Tuesday s. We spent 3 hours inside. I suggest to make research before you go.
There is not enough time! That is what we kept saying when we visited the Louvre. We both really want to go back, as there is so much to visit and see but not enough time in a year to see all the hidden nooks and crannies that this awesome museum has to offer.
The museum is amazing. We were the whole day in Louvre and still you have the impression that you could stay there forever. It's something you definitively should visit when in Paris. Buy your tickets online so you don't have to wait in queues for the entrance. The entrance to the museum is very s...
Can't really give a bad review for a place with so many art pieces. It's a bit confusing to find a way around though. It seems like the majority of tourists just run to Mona Lisa and queue there to take best picture, which we didn't bother to do, and had a chance to admire other paintings and more ...
The fact that the Louvre lives up to its reputation is all you really need to say. I would set aside an entire day if you d like to explore the entire museum. The Nintendo information and audio devices are really cool, but if you aren t careful they can flow you down if you have a time limit. I list...
Do a basic preliminary research before hand. The floor plan is a bit confusing but there are plenty of museum officials who are very cordial and are delighted to help.
Best museum in the world! You definitely have to go during the day to the museum but please come back to the pyramid during the night because the lights are amazing!
Best museum in the world. It has the highest number of visitors in the world for a museum. The entry fee is free for everyone under 18 years of age. This museum has masterpieces that are painted by famous artists. The most famous painting Mona Lisa is there in this museum.
The best way to get the museum is to get the city pass. It was the best to skip the long queue. I was overwhelmed when I first got there, the museum is ridiculously huge and there is so much artwork that you cannot simply see all in one day. My advice is you pick the sections of the museum you want ...
Since it Covid-19 time, level two and few section were closed. All the precautions were taken. If you want to try to see every section, you should be at the museum at 9. Now the lines are not that long. Mona lisa is so lonely, you can get very close to her. Any case have a safe visit.
I really was blown away by this museum. A must see in Paris even if you aren't an art fan like me. The architecture of the building alone is phenomenal, but many if the exhibits are just fascinating. This place is massive and would take multiple days to explore if you are intent on taking your time ...
For art lovers, you can spend a few days here easy. We spent one day and I think two or three days would have been most appropriate. Free lockers at the entrance with keypad locks make it easy to walk around the museum comfortably. Having said that, we went in late November and were slightly cold th...
The diversity of the expositions is main advantage of Louvre museum. There are several one of the best examples of arts represented in each of type, category and territory. Thus, it must visit place if you are curious about cultural development. It is better to buy tickets in internet. Not cheap, ...
A work of art absolutely, but the organization is disappointing. It s one of those places that is always crowded, but the way they deal with the crowds is not good. No clear sign on where to line up, you book a ticket for 10am entrance and when you arrive at 10, you have to line for 30 waiting and ...
Wow! This place is massive. Its true what they say, that you can't explore everything within one day. What was amazing was that is was free for Europeans within a certain age bracket! I think 18-26. Would definitely recommend buying an audio tour or following a map as we didn't and it was hard to fi...
Amazing architecture! Plan to spend a whole day here if you are really into art. There are so many halls to see. There is also a line to see the Mona Lisa and you have to be quick to take your picture with the painting. Reservations are the best way to go during busy season so you can get in right a...
It s magic the feeling, energy this place provides. We had amazing moments at the outside of the museum, making fun photos and observing the old and the new parts of the museum as que had inside. Great membership and all. Hope come back soon to finish out visit. We just hoped to check all the parts...
The best museum in the world! Must visit in Paris. I can't imagine there is a better place in this world to enjoy fine art. Louis XIV was great. Nobody has promoted art before. The collection of the museum ranges from Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Greek antiquities to masterpieces by great artist. My ...
We went 10 years ago inside the Museum and it was excellent. This time we didn't go inside but hung outside after a day of exploring and walking. Really nice area to chill and relax. The "shopping mall" underground is small (we thought we could escape the heatwave but shopping)and they charge 1.50 E...
Beautiful, wondering and astonished to witness this class piece. The world number one museum. It is all time over crowded. I wonder to observe so many Chinese kids there, It shows how people give importance to such historic places and let their family understand.
It is wonderful place that I have ever been. You need more than one day to visit this spectacular gallery, then you have a great opportunity to visit thousands of antique items and ancient sculptures in louver.
This museum was amazing, a real tourist attraction. However I had some difficulty finding the line for people with different tickets and none at all and also using the map to find certain pieces. I would recommend you visit here.
Perfect place if you love museum kind of place otherwise don't prefer this place because it will consume your whole day almost and you will not have enough energy after here to visit another place. Although you can go inside the pyramid to buy tickets. Queue on ground level is just for security chec...
Wow!!! A single day is never enough to take a look at all the paintings and sculptures inside the museum. Every single piece of display is a beauty. Simply loved the museum. Art lovers and those who have time should definitely take the weekly pass available here and enjoy the museum for more than a ...
The most worth visiting place in Paris. You can spend a whole day in this huge museum. The place is well organized. Sculptures and paintings are well preserved. I love how I can closely admire those are pieces. It's a good idea to buy museum pass if you going to spend 2-7 days visiting museums aroun...
I would definitely recommend it to everyone; kids, adults and elders. But I noticed that half of the museum wasn't translated in English. (Captions) Also if you are going to visit this museum, please do not go only to see Mona Lisa, you can see it in internet. Check everything, there are so many am...
I'm not much into museums, but you'll revel at how artists from the olden times sculpted and painted their masterpieces the way they did.
While walking through these halls, it's really astonishing to see up and coming artists trying to etch their skills into the same historical line of greatness....
Such a great museum the mix of modern glass pyramid entrance and traditional buildings is magnificent. The collections within are hugely varied. TIP: Get there early if you can to avoid queues. TIP: Don't try to visit it all in one visit Go to see specific areas and then return another time It can b...
A must visit place. Don t plan a quick visit. Come see think understand and enjoy. Unfold the secret discover the mystery. Do visit all the parts, understand the myth behind the things. Usually there will be some queue. Plan your visit by reserving the tickets. If you are taking the Paris attraction...
Such a fantastic museum! I just wandered and let myself get lost, and just kept trying to go in new directions and saw some pretty amazing stuff. The Italian paintings area was so crowded but the rest of the building is pleasantly quiet. It s a huge collection of art and I was also pleased to see th...
Impressive ouvre of various arts in historic times. My favourite is the Mona Lisa. I keep returning for her to the Louvre. Of course there are many more beautiful pieces to see. The Venus de Milo for example. You can spend days in here. . .
It s always amazing to be surrounded by such a magical place. Paris it s a great city; the vibrant bars and the wide home landscapes makes it a unique playground for amazing sightseeing and pictures!
The museum was excellent. Loved the layout. The museum is definitely more than 1 days worth of sightseeing. I spend 3 hours there and it was not enough but anymore then 3 hours in one day starts to hurt your head. I recommend visiting the museum several times as you ll definitely find things you d...
I have visited Louvre museums for 4 time. I really love this museum and I appreciate the art work but what made me give 2 stars for this museum will be the peak season visit. It was just horrible and not organized. There were massive crowd to see the Mona Lisa painting (they did place it to differ...
Definitely one if the best places I've ever been to. I've spent more than 3 hours and couldn't see everything there. For sure, it's the world's largest museum and houses one of the most impressive art collection in history.
PS. It's funny, but it seemed to me that there were more signs how to fin...
The Louvre is the world s largest museum and houses on of the most impressive art collections in history. The magnificent, baroque style palace and museum sits along the picturesque banks of the Seine River River.
The most important place to visit in Paris. Contains exhibits from 8500 years of human history! Needs at least 2 days to see everything. It's advisable to visit the painting displays after sunset as they may not be viewed properly due to sunlight reflection.
Vast museum with most extraordinary exhibits - the Mona Lisa almost being the least of them! Greek and Roman exhibitions are particularly beautiful and complete. Also, the foundations of the old 12th Louvre fortress upon which the current palace and museum sits. Forget the maps, they make no sense! ...
A must-see when in Paris! The biggest museum in the world and certainly worth your time. Do not miss it when in Paris. I have been here many times and I highly recommend it to everyone who appreciates French culture and history, and not only French.
Our visit to the Louvre Museum was actually a very long time ago. We were making a whirlwind tour of Europe since it as my sister's first time abroad. Of course, we made sure to see the most famous works of art, but sadly probably missed the 'best' that the Louver had to offer.
Hard to put this place into words. Its just magnificent. Its so grand and just beyond anything we could have imagined. We went late in the evening. From 6pm to closing 1045pm. We managed to see everything we wanted including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo and so much more. Being able to see the inners...
What can I say about Louvre? If you go to Paris, this place should be on your must-see list. exceptionally amazing. There are lots of entrance to reach the museum itself. they are all convenient if your want to reach the place with metro or other kind of public transportation. There are two options f...
To visit the Louvre you need time and have a clear idea what it is you want to visit. Let's be realistic, the Louvre Museum is enormous, in no way you'll be able to see it all in one day. Unless its one this "been there visits". Do some research about the current and permanent exhibitions beforehand...
This place has so much things to look at whether its amazing one of a kind art to artifacts from times way before us or present ones. its massive but very unique and the guide and maps are very helpful to navigate around this museum is fantastic to bring family. Lastly very fun and it will be one of...
The Louvre is a must-visit every time you re in Paris.. the queue to get inside in Covid era was much faster, you reserve online ahead of time. There was a short line to take your pic with Mona Lisa but at least it ensures you can have a nice photo. There is so much to see here, several kilometers ...
It was one of the best museum I ve ever seen. I was so exhilarated of this visit. Of course the museum is so big you cannot really see everything in one day. I have to go back on my next trip in Paris. I recommend it this is a totally worth 15
Visiting the palace of French kings to admire some of the world's finest art was a great adventure in my trip to Paris. You must go to Louvre Museum cose is a masterpiece, is one of the essential things to do while visiting Paris.
We arrived at 9 am with a time ticket, everything was well arranged and there were not many people on this Friday. This makes the visit to the Louvre even more special.
Make sure to come early to beat the queues. If you re aged between 18-26 and are a student studying in Europe admission is free. Definitely give yourself 3 hours minimum here, it is a huge museum. It is impossible to see everything in one day so plan ahead what rooms interest you the most!
Amazing place ..traveller must plan entire day or two to fully explore the magnificent place and understand the wonderful European history. I don't have enough words to explain the works presented in this museum.
Very beautiful museum. Although you definitely cannot finish in one day, nonetheless a must see in Paris. If you don t have a museum pass or prebooked tickets, Head early in the morning or on Wednesday or Friday late hour nights as this place can be very crowded during the day. Highlights include th...
I was finally able to see the "La Joconde" in person. The museum is very rich with many historical items brought from many parts of the world. The service in this museum is outstanding, the staff is very courteous and helpful. The building is very clean; it has many self service ticket machines, ...
One of the best experiences of my life. So much art and so much variety of it. Would not actually recommend the Mona Lisa as most people have seen it in some form in pop culture. The best thing to do is look around and take the place in. Explore beyond what you know and you will find some great surp...
Largest and best museum on the planet. Don't even try to visit it entirely in one day, enjoy it slowly, sometimes the room decoration is as beautiful and historic as the material presented on it. Monalisa is OK, but please do not skip the romantic French paintings by David next door.
Came here to see the mona lisa but I was held up in traffic. I eventually arrived at midnight and to my surprise there were less people than I expected. I was just about to turn back when I spotted a hole in the ground. Climbing down it, I found out that it was actually a tunnel going underneath the...
The Louvre Museum is a must to see. Avoid the lines and purchase your tickets online and keep in mind that if you are a resident of the European Union and you are under 26 years old the entrance is for free. If you go early in the morning it will be less busy. There are maps translated on different ...
It houses several vast collections including some of the most famous pieces of art and sculpture in the world (The Venus de Milo, The Mona Lisa), fantastically laid out in a grand building. You could easily spend a week exploring all the art. We don't speak fluent French. Many of the staff speak Eng...
Loved it. Underground market is really amazing. Its the biggest underground shopping area and museum I have ever seen. So big and so beautiful. Must visit place.
Incredible, 5 hours were nowhere near enough. Top tip: Pre-book a Nintendo 3DS audio tour. Amazing technology and a great way to explore. Recommend planning ahead which items you want to see, then the Nintendo will help you plot a route that guides you with GPS.
I always watched this museum in movies but the real experience was mesmerizing !! Each floor would require even a day for the guided tour. On a note, you would need a lot of energy to walk all day to finish all visiting all artifacts. Mona Lisa is really a masterpiece. It takes you into an era of ar...
