Parking is always difficult but it s ikea, that s expected
This place is so economical over the years I have set up and decorated multiple spaces. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Don't be afraid to ask for help from the staff.
IKEA is a hellish maze of hypothetical living rooms and the people who shop there tend to stand in the aisles with no regard for others' time or sanity. It's worth it though, because they sell the best looking, least expensive, and sturdiest manufactured wood furniture in the world.
A friend drug me here. The place is a zoo. I don't see the appeal (but in all honesty, I hate shopping).
I love this store ! Especially since they have a plug in charging system for my prius ... i just wish it was cheeper ... but overall i can spend hoursss in ikea!!
Awful experience from start to finish. Terrible customer service, had to call there 3rd party delivery company just to get a answer. Terrible people besides one girl who was actually trying. Just don t go here they don t deserve the miles you put on your car just going there.
It's a madhouse. Cheap low grade furniture. It was a cattle run thru the store. It was like Disneyland but no one had a fast pass. No time or space to stop and decide. It really needs free bags. All your items and nowhere to carry them out unless you spend more money. It's a madhouse.
Love walking through this store. Lots of stuff to look at and buy. Help when you need it and very clean
Has anyone been able to pick&collect? I'm trying to place an order 3 days in a row and every time i fail! Looks like this option either doesn't work or there is a huge line and everything is booked..
Its Ikea... If you havent been why are you reading this? Just go. Its amazing.
Love the furniture, hard to get around. Very crowded.
If you like to shop for furniture for yourself or for a friend, you will have a ball at this place, plus there is a play room to drop the little ones off while you shop & if you get hungry there's a snack bar downstairs & a restaurant upstairs that serves swedish food!
We went on a research trip for ideas. So many great things! We had a very reasonable lunch to take a break.
I didn't grow up in an Ikea household, so I don't get as excited here. The store has a great selection of basically everything you'd ever need for your house. There are many lines for checkout and a large parking lot to accommodate. The cafe is very large and I've never had an issue waiting for food...
The Portland ikea store has never been a problem for me. I recently found out they deliver. I ordered a product online and got confirmation it would arrive in 3-4 days. When that delivery day came the package did not arrive. I went back to check tracking updates and my order number wouldn t work. I ...
I expected IKEA, an international organization, to be the epitome of efficiency when it came to having to do business in this current 'new way'. They already have most of their merchandise pre-packaged, ready to take out to the loading area where people and cars are 6' apart, loading up their own g...
Horrible lack of customer service. The people that work in the customer service department are incredibly rude and condescending.
Always a pleasure to walk through and see all the great ideas!
I love this place but sometimes prices can be a little inflated for the quality of the product so make sure to do your research.
I love Ikea and the restaurant inside is awesome, good food at very good prices. They have a very large selection of products at good prices, the store is huge. I highly recommend shopping there, also try out there restaurant.
Sales woman was absolutely clueless, needed help making an invoice with assembly service, Deliver was 1hr 45 min past 5 hr window of time we were given for this delivery, then assembly crew canceled job before even arriving after waiting all day. I will NEVER buy there again, 495 delivery and ass...
Worse on line ordering experience in my life, loosing my order 2 times and not solving it at all is dam STUPID .... I will never set a foot in any IKEA ever ever ever again...... Horrible company.. horrible customer service
Excellent place to shop for home furniture! Highly recommend.
I love going to IKEA in Portland as it has a wide variety of furniture and household things at a reasonable price
My son has had chicken tenders all over the nation and swears that these are the best.
It's IKEA. Went in and took the shortcuts to get the chair I wanted, got in line (second person) and made my purchase. I left dropped off my unassembled chair and went in the cafe for hot dogs (not bad) and off brand cola.
First time in this store and I loved everything in this store.
What can I say? It's an Ikea. A Whole New World! Got to love the place
IKEA is IKEA is IKEA. IKEA's are like any other chain box store where they are one in the same. If you've ever been in an IKEA or read one of their catalogs, then you've already been here. But, if you want to specifically come to this one you need to know that being the only IKEA in the region means...
It's a zoo! Make sure you have all day to spend way more money than you expected.
Big store, lots if cool stuff. There cafeteria/restaurant is good, but I like the snack bar when we go, soft pretzels, and a 2 hot dog special always hits the spot.
Lots of blue and yellow, combined with a long and winding road (not to be confused with a yellow brick road). Remodeling a salon. Self employed people couldn't stop work while we remodeled. We needed cabinets in stock, needed all the parts and needed them quickly. The look is sleek and contemporary ...
Yes it is a furniture and furnishings store, but it has a facility for watching your kids for an hour and a restaurant that is great to take the kids to. Make sure your vehicle has adequate space to accommodate flat boxed goods and maybe a cooler for any frozen meatballs you pick up.
First time here got bedroom sets and desk will not be going anywhere else again for my furniture needs love this place
It's kinda a good/bad store bigthough! Prices are kinda high for certain things, all though other things can be cheap!
Always fun to explore options to customize my home!
As always when visiting the IKEAS, excellent food and prices very well
I found many news from the last time I visited IKEA. I like your vision of life in terms of home
You can find pretty much anything you want to fix up your apartment here. lines can be pretty difficult sometimes but overall pretty good furniture. Great parking.
It was really busy, but the staff was helpful and patience.
Good place to shop for household stuff.
Great restaurant on site.
Great assembly crew. Fast polite and very very awesome after work especially a guy that goes by the name of Alex and Danny
Had the $2 breakfast and it was the best $2 I've ever spent. It was as if for $2 my passport was renewed and I was briskly whisked away to the country of Sweden. The Scandinavian pancakes and strawberry jam took me back to my childhood. The fluffy scoop of eggs ladled onto my plate was like a pillow...
Always fun, finding all kinds of idea's and inspirations while walking around. Love the Swedish Meatballs.
One of the best stores in the world. All staff love being there and they help so much when things can be found and it is just fun to walk around and eat food when u dont buy anything. But nothing is better than buying the one peace that really puts ur home together.
The only IKEA store in or near Portland, so an essential stop or something to be completely avoided pending on how you feel about a Ikeas. I like to stop by if I have some time to kill when I'm picking someone up or dropping someone off at the airport, and even if I don't need a bookcase or somethin...
I'd give it five stars if it didn't take so long to exit, but that's kinda their model.
Half the time they don't have what you want in stock. Lines are always crazy even if it's not busy. Returns take about 30 minutes even if it's not busy. Easier to just order online.
IKEA rocks. Everyone knows it. I'm rating this short of five stars, however, because it's a cluster*** in there. Buying a couch and a couple of lamps probably means you'll need to devote an entire day to doing that. In more than one way, it's a lot like adult Disneyland. You can't see everything in ...
Really nice place. The sheer size of it will mesmerize you. Inside is really clean and during covid they are handling everything quite well. Only downside is a long line with no shade during the mid day. Will definitely come back soon
Always a good deal, but I won't go back in the weekend. Parking lot is scary
Set up very well to get you in & out quickly, even with social distancing.
If you need home furnishings they have it. Don't forget to stop by their restaurant and eat.
I don't know how long I've been in here. There are no windows and no exits. I've been living on meatballs and potatoes for what could be two days or two years... please help... please...
I just read through the comments section. Ikea is not the place where you get wine served to you while beautiful models walk around with the latest fashions and an attendant is ready to wipe the excess wine from your lips with a silk napkin when you are sloppy. It is a place, like every place you ...
I like IKEA because it's sort of an urban form of hiking. So many interesting things to see as you traverse the trails. Of course, once you're deep into the IKEA, finding your way out can sometimes be a challenge. But you know, as long as you have good GPS, you should be fine.
IKEA is neither as great as its fan say nor as evil as some have said (including myself in the past). It is true that they are the Walmart of home furnishings in nearly every way. However, they have such a huge selection that you're bound to find something you like, though not always as good of a de...
There is a system where the cashier scans everything, ave the system let's you know if your missing a Box. I had to wait av extra 18 minutes as they tried to figure out what was missing. I was ok. Could have been me.
Went there a few times to get some little things for the house. This is IKEA, and you cant find pretty much anything you need for the house. The thing you have to keep in mind is that since it is IKEA, the quality is not the greatest. The furniture you buy there is a pain to assemble, but it is chea...
Endless possibilities. Go to grab a couple items and I always leave with at least a dozen.
Not always the best products but always have a good time looking at options :-). And nothing beats a nice serving of Swedish meatballs!
