Current member in the Teledata side. Wish this union would be more active/supportive with their members and show up on job sites to make sure everything is being honored in the contract with current employers. As opposed to only showing up only when issues need to be addressed.
I'm a former member and I would not recommend this union to anyone if you like being treated like a person. I worked there for 3 to 4 years. yea the pay is better than non union but what they don't tell you when you sign up is that your voice doesn't matter. the supposed board does not care about it...

I been on the books for about a year now,the brotherhood is weak in 716 . I so tire of them not able to put men to work . I hate I have to travel just to make a living .
