Nice trip with little one, small farm but children feel really happy, fresh made sandwich reasonably priced. It seemed to me that the car park was free, public transport is easy, just stop near Sainsbury & MNS superstore, follow the little path along the wandle river(next to the bridge, entrance of t...

Awesome little farm, especially for kids. This place is relatively easy to get to yet nicely hidden away from the traffic. You can feed the animals, but remember to bring some change as the food pellets are dispensed from those old style Candy "insert correct change and turn to dispense" machines do...

I was volenteering at this farm for four weeks (today I left early due to complications with staff). I was lead to believe that this farm was a welcoming place to those that suffer with mental health, and big surprise, they weren't. I worked at the stables, most of the staff were okay, but there wer...

Great place. Obviously not a real farm but enough animals to keep a small child entertained. Good play area for little kids too. Shame the cafe doesn't open on Saturday but otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Car park isn't too big but its free if you get there early you'll bag a spot. Awesome that th...

3rd birthday party - Success and everyone had a great time. All the parents even commented what a great place to have a birthday.

I got to the room early to set up before all my guests arrived but found it was already done. All I did was set up the cake table. Was so quick and easy. There was ...

It's for the kids.

Yes, I enjoyed it more than I had expected even though it was very much as I remembered it over years of taking the kids to the farm.

Today it was for the grandchildren.

They did all those things again. Looking at the poultry in cages, watching the pony riders in the ring...

This is a great place to bring kids to. They have a toddler's playground, a cafe, and kids can feed and stroke some of the animals and ride ponies. It's free to get in and there's a parking area (also free) near the entrance. Dress your kids appropriately as they will probably get a bit dirty.

It's perfect to come here when the sun is shining, and play with small animals-lamb, giant rabbit, lion rabbit, alpaca Kimby, ferret and owl Edna (some small animals can be stroked at a fixed time). You can also ride horses and drink coffee. The staff is very friendly. Spending an afternoon in the f...

My two guinea pigs have just spent the last week boarding at Deen City Farm. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and listened to my concerns about leaving them. A fantastic service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend leaving your small animal in their more than capable hands!

I wanted to love this little farm as it s local to us but the staff were so unhelpful at the info desk. I know it s small farm that needs funding so happy to pay for extras such as getting up close to feed some of the animals and ridding a pony but it took longer to put the riding hat on than the ri...

We took our grandchildren there about 12 months ago. Quite unimpressed even though it was free. We stood in line waiting for a pony ride only to be told when we got to the front that they were finished. We were the last in line, no-one behind us. Apparently there was supposed to have been a barrier...

Considering the location and the fact that it's free, it accomplishes a lot. It's absolutely huge and is full of varied animals. It is primarily a kids farm though, and as such you can count on it being ram packed any time of the year or day.

Always worth a visit if you're in the area.

Children love it, most adults too including me. Entry is free. Can be messy and untidy but it is a working farm.

Good little farm. Although very small. Not a lot of staff around. Cafe was below average. They do not have a wide menu and what food they had did not taste very nice at all. We went to pat the animals at the 11:00 small animal encounter. There was no one around at 11 but we kept waiting. By 11:30 th...

For that reason alone it serves the community well and I witnessed so many children enthralled by the animals t...
