Always nice and a good place to go with the little ones.
Always nice and a good place to go with the little ones.
Nice trip with little one, small farm but children feel really happy, fresh made sandwich reasonably priced. It seemed to me that the car park was free, public transport is easy, just stop near Sainsbury & MNS superstore, follow the little path along the wandle river(next to the bridge, entrance of t...
Free(!) attraction but top quality and very convenient. Right sized for a few hours with a toddler. Can spend time up close with ferrets, fowl, guinea pigs etc petting and feeding.
Awesome little farm, especially for kids. This place is relatively easy to get to yet nicely hidden away from the traffic. You can feed the animals, but remember to bring some change as the food pellets are dispensed from those old style Candy "insert correct change and turn to dispense" machines do...
Great place to visit with the kids then lunch at Abbey Mills - good day out!
My children absolutely loved our visit there! They could see many different animals and have already asked me to go there again! :) Really happy that I have found this farm!
I was volenteering at this farm for four weeks (today I left early due to complications with staff). I was lead to believe that this farm was a welcoming place to those that suffer with mental health, and big surprise, they weren't. I worked at the stables, most of the staff were okay, but there wer...
Wonderful experience for a toddler. cafe is also very reasonable.
Great place. Obviously not a real farm but enough animals to keep a small child entertained. Good play area for little kids too. Shame the cafe doesn't open on Saturday but otherwise a very enjoyable visit. Car park isn't too big but its free if you get there early you'll bag a spot. Awesome that th...
Went as a child. Now taking my own little ones there. Great place..and its free!!
3rd birthday party - Success and everyone had a great time. All the parents even commented what a great place to have a birthday.
I got to the room early to set up before all my guests arrived but found it was already done. All I did was set up the cake table. Was so quick and easy. There was ...
Farm is great ! But people... not really friendly, I go there only cos me and my kids love animals...
Great for kids who live in a city to see farm animals up close
Nice little kids 'farm' with riding school & cafe. Limited parking. Accessible on foot from Morden Hall Park via the Wandle River path.
It's for the kids.
Yes, I enjoyed it more than I had expected even though it was very much as I remembered it over years of taking the kids to the farm.
Today it was for the grandchildren.
They did all those things again. Looking at the poultry in cages, watching the pony riders in the ring...
This is a great place to bring kids to. They have a toddler's playground, a cafe, and kids can feed and stroke some of the animals and ride ponies. It's free to get in and there's a parking area (also free) near the entrance. Dress your kids appropriately as they will probably get a bit dirty.
This is a great little city farm. It's inly small but there is plenty for young kids to be entertained and then afterwards you can go for a walk through the National Trust Morden Hall Park which is really picturesque!
Nice little farm to take the children great work don't have to pay but a little donation would help them to keep this good place going as they don't get funding
Very nice place to go with kids.
Clean!
Has very nice, friendly animals, playful.
Playground for kids.
It's perfect to come here when the sun is shining, and play with small animals-lamb, giant rabbit, lion rabbit, alpaca Kimby, ferret and owl Edna (some small animals can be stroked at a fixed time). You can also ride horses and drink coffee. The staff is very friendly. Spending an afternoon in the f...
Very friendly staff and a fun way to spend time with the family. Kids can see many types of animals and play at the small park. We love dropping by whenever we have time.
My two guinea pigs have just spent the last week boarding at Deen City Farm. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and listened to my concerns about leaving them. A fantastic service from start to finish. Would definitely recommend leaving your small animal in their more than capable hands!
Great place to spend time with kids. Friendly animals.
Staff is lovely. It's a great day out with the kids!
Yes v nice place ..kids liked it but they become sad wn pony ride wasn't available at that time.. other wise liked so much..
I wanted to love this little farm as it s local to us but the staff were so unhelpful at the info desk. I know it s small farm that needs funding so happy to pay for extras such as getting up close to feed some of the animals and ridding a pony but it took longer to put the riding hat on than the ri...
We took our grandchildren there about 12 months ago. Quite unimpressed even though it was free. We stood in line waiting for a pony ride only to be told when we got to the front that they were finished. We were the last in line, no-one behind us. Apparently there was supposed to have been a barrier...
Wonderful place to take the children to. Even the older ones love the rambling walks through the green spaces surrounding it. A treat for younger kids with lots of animals like horses, rabbits and even snakes to see
Very fun and relaxing place to go wether alone or with family. The animals are friendly and i enjoyed looking and spending time with them (especially the cows!!) The cafe is very nice too with good food. Definitely recommend.
Went there with my family had fun and it was fantasticly free!!!
Brilliant little unexpected farm in the city... my kids loved it and the tour it short enough so they don't start getting bored.
will consider in the future also for the horse riding lessons but need to wait till they are 8 at least...
PS never seen a rooster like the one in the pic - impressi...
Good place to visit feel like close to nature and very nice and clean
Good (for children), free little farm with a nice picnic area and playground.
Really great for young children, even adults enjoy feeding the animals.
Lovely little farm, not many animals there, but good place to take very young children. There is a petting corner, snack shop and children's play ground. Good place to go to spend a couple of hours.
Fantastic and kids love , and better it's FREE (Donate if you like)
Nice place to have some good time with children. The cafe serves simple hearty food.
Well worth going children love it cheap day out no charge to get in
A small and educational farm for children and family outings, with a good sized child's play area, a neat outdoor garden area and outside seating for enjoying the fresh air during the warmer months, for a family or group picnic, whilst watching some horse riding, in an enclosed area.
I didn't kno...
A small farm with a friendly collection of animals. Great half day outing for a family. There are some animals you can pet and a little cafe. Feeding the goats and sheep is fun!
Always lovely to visit and great value as it is a voluntary contribution towards payment of entry, fab farm for kids under the age of 8.
Amazing little city farm! Such a lovely day out for the whole family, highly recommend visiting this farm :)
They are now locking away animals unless you pay. Such a sad development. If they cannot fundraise from corporate then sack the fundraisers
Very nice place for the little kids! Best of all it is free :)
Really?? Teaching children about these lovely sentient animals and then this
Nice little farm. The children get to pet the animals although they are just a few. The biggest disappointment is the information till and the cafe. The cafe is over priced and those at the infomation dest don't know much and give out the wrong information.
It took me 3 days to find out all i neede...
Considering the location and the fact that it's free, it accomplishes a lot. It's absolutely huge and is full of varied animals. It is primarily a kids farm though, and as such you can count on it being ram packed any time of the year or day.
Always worth a visit if you're in the area.
Children love it, most adults too including me. Entry is free. Can be messy and untidy but it is a working farm.
Nice cafe, clean toilets and has the essential hand washing stations which all visitors are strongly encouraged to use before departure a...
Small , local farm good for a day out with kids . Free of charge too. They have a shop if your children get hungry with benches to eat and a play park. They have lots of animals including ducks , chickens , cows , owls , birds, horses , More
Animals are well taken care of. Love going to this place with the kids
What an Amazing little gem. My daughter loved the horse riding. The little picnic area was lovely ij the sun.
Poor service from cafe very rude staff, children's sandwich was mouldy. A shame as the farm itself was nice, my advice is if you do decide to go take your own food.
Free little farm good for children.Bar serving lunch.
Went today with my children.
We love the place and my kids love feeding the animals.
I just feel in this very difficult time for everyone deen farm could do better regarding the way the flow of visitors is. There is only 1 way system around the building area and it works quite well but when you ar...
Great little urban farm , lovey staff , great cafe, very friendly animals.
I love this farm and it deserves all the funding it can get. Regularly go there with friends and family, and that doesn't always involve kids! Even adults can have fun feeding the animals and wandering around the grounds. And then there is the stable which is also fantastic and does excellent lesson...
We had our daughter's 3rd birtday at the farm. The staff and volunteers were so helpful and highlights for the kids included the animal petting and pony rides! Great venue and alternative to play barns.
Lovely farm and just a place to chill where the plants are if you like animal's and nature.
Kids can learn lost of things about animals here and can also feed some. There is also a riding school - horses are beautiful.
If you get hungry or just fancy a cuppa you can also buy something inside the c...
Just back from our first visit and I have one very happy little boy!
Lots to see and the animals are really well cared for. The flower garden was
really sweet as well. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
My kids love to go at this farm. You can find many animals. lama, ferret, bunnies, , owl, lamb, , , chicken, turkey, etc. Also you can buy food for the animals, you can touch them and good cleaning facilities. You can use More
Good little farm. Although very small. Not a lot of staff around. Cafe was below average. They do not have a wide menu and what food they had did not taste very nice at all. We went to pat the animals at the 11:00 small animal encounter. There was no one around at 11 but we kept waiting. By 11:30 th...
Just a lovely place to go with children or by yourself. Very relaxing a great cafe to get some light refreshments
Great place for the kids shame people leave litter and don't tidy up after themselves
Really Great!! Really great for kids and Adults and free! I love this place!
Great place for kids, especially toddlers. A lot of different animals, also most of them can be touched. Clean toilets, baby changing facilities. Good coffee and play area available too. Highly recommend
Free admission gives an amazing opportunity for lower income families to allow their children to experience the joy of different animals that they may not otherwise get the chance to see. For that reason alone it serves the community well and I witnessed so many children enthralled by the animals t...
Fun Sunday morning with my family. Excellent Al for a small donation.
