Great hotel, great location, great service, spacefull rooms, quiet, direct access to mall and to folk food street. Great.
Great hotel, great location, great service, spacefull rooms, quiet, direct access to mall and to folk food street. Great.
The location of this hotel is probably the best thing about it. It s minutes away from a lot of places but this hotel is really needing some work. It s starting to become pretty dated and many things are needing updates. Also the cleaning staff really needs to pay more attention to their work. I fou...
We received a free upgrade to a small suite which was fabulous since there was 3 of us.
However, from the beginning, we originally reached out to the hotel asking the ways to get to their location from the airport. There are several options:
You could take a shuttle bus which is 24 CNY each way +...
The traffic is very convenient, the subway taxi is very convenient, downstairs is the New Oriental World Shopping Center, eating and shopping is very convenient, walking to Wangfujing amp is also ten minutes. Let's talk about the hotel facilities, the hardware looks old, but it is very good to use, ...
Spent our first nights in china here. Perfect after 13hr flight. Recommend treating yourself in the health club.
Great food, location and amenities
Best indoor pool area (debatably) in the world
Must see , worth the premium
Such a beautiful Hotel to stay. ( Amazing)
food was Excellent,, staffing where excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Stuart and Joan Truss
Excellent stay on a short layover in Beijing. Good location with easy access to subway to whisk you away all over Beijing. The large shopping mall and beautifully done pool/spa/gym are well worth it.
It's located at wangfujing and shopping area. Easy for window shopping and food too.
GRAN HYATT Deserves 6 *** ***
Precious, Very Elegant, Great and has everything.
Very well located, High Food of all kinds, staff more than professional.
Highly recommended .
Best hotel pool I ve ever seen. Beautiful tropical area underground. Great location, helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Comfortable room with small and dated bathroom. We also had Peking Duck at Made in China restaurant inside the hotel and it was an experience.
The location of the hotel is amazing. In the center of Beijing in the immediate vicinity of the center and the pedestrian zone. The hotel itself is located in a complex together with a huge shopping mall and Mall with an area of 1 mil. sq. m. Everything in the hotel is thought of business visits and...
Interesting location near the Forbidden City and Tianamen. Appealing rooms and eclectic international breakfast. In the basement great shopping arcade.
Rooms are only OK with the price you pay, bathroom door may not fully close so the water will leak out and cause flooding in bathroom floor.
Staffs are nice at the check in counter and very helpful, room cleaning teams are very friendly.
Stayed here for a week and enjoyed it immensely. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Beijing metro. The staff are all friendly and helpful and able to speak English. If you can afford The Club rooms, it's probably worth the expense. Th...
Awesome hotel. Food was meh.. although the Chinese restaurant in the lobby is one of the best in Beijing.
We dined at the "award winning" restaurant Da Giorgio. The price was incredibly expensive compared to other high class restaurants in North America. Our experience with the Made in China restaurant and their Cantonese restaurant, Noble Court convinced us to try at the Da Giorgio. The experience w...
Stayed here in 2008.
Excellent hotel.
The hotel is in city center, quiet close to business district, stafs are friendly, room is nice and clean despite relarively small
Decent hotel but not meeting the 5 * criteria. In particular, the staff do not speak English (except at reception for payment), a simple glass of water is very difficult to order and asking for a non-alcoholic cocktail is a real passport to adventure!
Breakfast is plentiful and varied, but the surr...
Nice place, but people are not well trained. They often give suspicious looks and ask stupid questions.
The lobby bar is a great place to shop, the seafood at the buffet is great, and the restaurant on the first floor is even better. I like it very much.
Amazing hotel in Beijing
As all the grand hyatt i have been (until now 3) amazing service, good food, good gym area. Recommended at all
Traveled from Canada and stayed at the hotel in early January 2020. Central location to local tourist attractions - walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Great customer service and concierge service. Staff were very helpful in assisting with hotel and car/taxi services. Highly...
La HISTORIA del ..... GRAND HYATT BEIJING Hotel . La AMISTAD y el buen SABOR siempre perdura en el TIEMPO gracias marcel
Very strategically located hotel within the city centre. 15mins on foot to Forbidden City and Tianamen square. Sits in the middle of 2 subway stations (line 1: Wangfujing and Dongdan) which are accessible via the connecting mall. Lots of food options both within the mall and Wangfujing street which...
Not a good hotel for tourists. Do many things are wrong with them. Asked the bell boy to get a taxi for us. He said better to by 2 bus as no taxi can come!
Buffet breakfast. Staff wait until last piece is finished then take them about 15 to 20 minutes to bring more.!
Cleaned our room took our dirt...
The hotel management is very good and very clean. The location is very unique. On the east Chang'an Street, the fountain at the entrance is also very beautiful. Many people take photos here at night. The hotel also has a lot of food, Chinese and Western food. The room is also very large, very good.
When I first went to Beijing more than ten years ago, I remembered that this hotel name was such a cottage. Later I learned that people are also luxury hotel brands. I was lucky enough to stay this year. Overall, it was slightly older.
Luxury at its best - Grand Hyatt Beijing. Don't miss their Oasis Club swimming pool.
This hotel is really nice. The rooms are good, the restaurants and bars are great, and there is an amazing indoor pool in the basement.
Beijing has been convenient for many reasons, and it was a stay at Route 2 East Shijojo Station, a Swissotel in front of you, but after a few unpleasant things, I wandered in various ways. This is a recommendation. After all the hotel is correct if the price is correct. Well, I knew the Toho Prince,...
The interior of the hotel is not bad. The environment is also good, breakfast is exquisite! Next time to Beijing's first choice!
Fantastic pool. The pool alone makes this place worth a stay. Location is decent, in between Wangfujing and Dongdan stations. It is completely sheltered to the metro. Its located on top of a rather expensive mall, but that s still worth a look. Very hard to find bottled water around the area. Had so...
Stayed here for two nights. The hotel is quite old already so do expect some wear and tear of the room furniture. Our room was huge with separate living area. The towels were quite dirty. The study desk is weird as it has only one side connecting to the floor, making it unstable. TV program is quite...
Amazing customer service and very good location! Walking distance from the forbidden city ! Highly recommend
Incredible hotel. Very convenient location and very central. Beautifully run and well appointed. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and very professional. The swimming pool, spa, and gym, are out of this world. Really great equipment and well run. The swimming pool is just paradise. Make sure you kee...
Amazing Hotel, very clean great hospitality, excellent breakfast and great location.
Location is good for playing. Good access to Tiananmen, the market and subway. However, the location and the breakfast other than the pool are significantly lower than other hotels. When you order an omelet, you stand in line, wait without a waiting list, use a razor, Amenity is very cheap. Consider...
One of Hyatt hotel chain with great location in town and high level hotel service.
My husband and I stayed at Grand Hyatt Beijing from 12 Sep - 16 Sep 2019. These dates coincide with the rehearsal of the events to be held at Chang An Avenue in anticipation of celebrations for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People s Republic of China. During the rehearsal, Chang An Ave...
The first five stars in my reviews. Thank you to the hotel clerk, Billy.
It has proven that one person can change the image of a company.
Not long ago, it was a large national holiday in China, so the security of Grand Hyatt Wangfujing was severe.
Every time I went out to smoke, I was inspected a...
The pool is amazing, its the best place to stay for americans.
We stayed at the Hyatt for 6 nights. The facilities, staff and location of the hotel was fantastic. For the LGBT travellers, we were asked if we wanted two single beds, but that was it- so don't worry about having to negotiate a normal room. The service was what you expect of the Hyatt and as for th...
Wonderful room, great facilities and well kept. Huge pool area too. Amazing food buffet. Free wine, beer, wonderful food. Recomended.
Beautifully appointed and clean hotel. Walkable to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, as well as night market and popular shopping. One of the best gyms and pools ever.
It is nice hotel, but rooms are little crowdy due to small size of rooms.
Old hotel. He made a deal but in terms of price / quality ratio, ok, located perfectly. good breakfast. Tropical pool. In a word, you can live
Located in the city center, business and leisure travelers. Few minutes' walk to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Wangfujing Street next to the hotel, which brings together the traditional silk shops, tea. Grand Hyatt Beijing Oriental Plaza business district is a part, can be connected direc...
I stayed here in 2011 and loved it and returned in 2013 and again in 2018.
It s gone down hill.
- the Furniture in the lobby is old, tired and worn. ( has not changed in 7 years )
- My wife and I sat down and were not served so we waved our hands in the air 3 time as the waitress looked di...
Business travel in December 2015 is the same as before, first consider choosing Beijing Grand Hyatt, because her location is close to the department we need to contact, it is suitable to save time in the crowded Beijing. The experience of this stay is of course as good as ever.
Was here for the evening only (not overnight). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Foyer area was well presented. It was very busy every time we were in any common areas. Difficult to get a cab outside to get home.
I love this hotel so much. One of the best hotel experiences I ve ever had. The staff were so friendly. The club staff gave me a cake and a card for my birthday
In fact, it is quite ordinary, basically not quite like the level of the Grand Hyatt hotels.
The room service is excellent, the check-in and check-out is very efficient, the hotel location is also excellent, suitable for business travel, facilities are also good, is one of the hotel representatives with the highest background. The appearance is gorgeous.
It may be the reason that there are too many hotel rooms. When checking in at the front desk, it is necessary to queue up. There are indeed check-ins, check-outs, invoicing, foreign currency exchange, and many business is very busy. In the front desk service, Miss Chen Ning Sabrina impressed me the ...
It was a great stay. I couldn't fault anything. Hotel staff really helpful. The location is fantastic and so central and next to subway which gets you to all the attractions (no need for taxi). In the subway, they have helpers to assist to buy tickets. It helps that subway stations are named as th...
An excellent, though expensive, hotel in the heart of the city overlooking Chang'an Avenue. Large spacious rooms, comfortable beds and cleanliness one would expect from the Hyatt. Excellent pool and sauna facilities below the hotel. Only downside is that like most top western hotels is that Internet...
Overnight at Grand Twin. It was a simple and clean room. It was not large at all, but it was just a good area for a 2-person stay.
The pool on the third basement floor can be used free of charge, and there is a heated Jacuzzi and a sauna.
Rental bicycles are also available free of charge, making i...
This is my first time to give 1 star
Not bad for the room and food, but there s one thing that I have to say is the service of the SPA there is very unprofessional! We were there for relax, and there s a girl who do the massage for my man was trying to steal my man! Keep calling him cute and sexy...
Very unimpressed with the service. Arrived after hours of travel to be told we needed to wait an extra 2 hours after check in for the room to the ready and to "come back". Only begrudgingly and after our insistence were we given somewhere to stay in the meantime. For a 5 star hotel, found it very un...
Not too good location and a bit worn down. Breakfast is good though.
Totally awesome pool. Can't describe by words.
Great location in downtown Beijing
Nice enough room, view, gym, interesting pool, high line shopping below the hotel, restaurants in hotel and in food court mall below the hotel. Good location near tourist sites, most of staff speaks English. Internet was not reliable.
Had a 4:30pm curfew because of a government parade practice.....
Comfortable, central hotel. 10 min walk to Tiananmen Square.
Because I had to catch an early flight the next day, I chose to stay here the day before. The hotel has a 24-hour shuttle to the airport. Hotel service staff is very good, feels warm, room layout is not bad
We liked the hotel very much. Modern, well-groomed. The central square and nearby attractions are within walking distance. During our stay there was someone from the US government, so all the staff was especially attentive and kind. On the pool, massage, etc. no complaints either.
Convenient Club Floor and Lounge (can't go wrong on the nightly snacks). Great in-hotel restaurants - love the duck at Made in China. Always made to feel welcome.
Te swiming pool worth the stay. Very well located over a shopping mall and at walking distance from the night market.
One of the biggest Hyaat Series in the world, i have spent nights over a place that have everything underneath it !!!! Example the metro... and a Mall !!!! And the best the amazing swimming pool underground level 2 like an aquatic place.....love it, and special thanks to the Algerian Boss for the gr...
The fountain got a bit famous for a Chinese film - "33 days after breakup". Other than that, the office buildings and shopping centers could be a contrast to the nearby Wangfujing.
I can't say enough nice things about this property. Beware of others claiming to be a "5 star"- many are not. The front desk was exceptional, the room was beautiful and clean, and it has a great location. The executive lounge is among the best I've ever experienced, and well worth the surcharge. Tru...
