My family loves Merit. The curriculum is rigorous, the teachers are excellent and experienced, and the students have the opportunity to build a college-ready education. Administration empowers and supports teachers to be creative and challenge students with unique project-based learning experience...
I love Merit! (I graduated from MCPA in 2016) It is a great school and helped me to achieve my potential according to the way that I wanted to achieve my education. I was accepted into the university of my choice (BYU) thanks to the guidance, counsel and help form all of the wonderful staff and fac...
I paid $50 for the bus and my child told me that there are rarely any seats left for her to sit on. She said that they had a school team with them. And were squished, doesn't sound like social distancing to me. She said some seats had to be taped together!
I have had four of my children attend this school. A couple were struggling in the public school system. Merit made all the difference. The teacher are amazing and really care about the kids. There is no shortage of opportunity for the kids to get involved in whatever they choose. The "Fusion" ...
This school is amazing. My daughter loves it, and I know my younger students will too. It's small class sizes offer individual help for students. But it's quaint size means everyone knows my daughter by name. Couldn't have asked for a better school for my children.
Don't waster your children's time on this school. It is horribly organized and the counselor there prevented my child from graduating as early as she planned because he didn't think it was right.
I have had the greatest experience with Merit. The teachers are very willing to reach out and communicate with parents. My boys love the school. There are so many opportunities to do things that they would be passed over on, by a larger school. The Drama department is phenomenal and literally saved...
Our family loves Merit Academy. We now have our oldest three attending there. They have one of the most amazing theater programs available at a High School level. Their administration and faculty are very willing to work with families to custom fit the best possible educational experience they can f...
I currently have a child attending this school. She has been bullied not just by her classmates but by staff members as well. The Principal and office staff constantly talk behind students backs and act like high school kids.
Great teachers and great principal. Their curriculum is one of the best in the valley. Some of the students may not like the discipline here because the teachers push students to aim for excellence, and not settle for average.
Love this school. We came from a large school in Davis County and our son was suffocating in the crowds. The smaller more personal school has been wonderful. Our son has really done so much better here and is happier. We love all the changes they have made in the administration and the staff. Every...
If you notice there are mostly five star, and one star reviews. There is no "meh" or in-between with Merit. I have gone to Merit since 9th grade, the people that left the school are the ones to give the 1 star reviews, and those currently at Merit or graduated are going to give 5 star reviews. Every...
We have loved our experience at Merit. It has been challenging , yet supportive for our daughter. Full disclosure, we like it so much, that I am a volunteer board member.
My daughter is in 8th grade at this school. It has been so wonderful for her! The teachers/ administrators and unique classes are just amazing! Super small class sizes, anywhere from 8 students to 20. My daughter absolutely loves going to this school and it has really brought out her talents and in...
