In the winter (just went today, temps in low 30s) the conservatory buildings were like getting a summer or tropical day in winter. The tropic animal...

Be sure to get tickets in advance, as you won't be able to purchase them at the door and capacity is limited. Limited capacity is a good thing right now though, and other details are also well thought out, such as one way pathways. I think it goes without saying at this point to wear your mask.

This is one of my favorite places in all of St. Paul. No matter how many times I visit, there is always something to inspire. Even with a restricted path for Covid-19, it was rejuvenating to see the plants and grounds so we'll maintained. All the green things growing is always a balm. I do miss bein...

Super cool. Definitely humid, that should be obvious, but this is a great place to go. One room contains tropical vegitation and animals including a huge snake, fish, and a sloth. Another is full of flowers and the last has every spice you can think of.

Right around the beginning of February, you need this place. Green smells and humidity. Quiet drips of water. Peace and living things. It's lovely the rest of the year, but when winter has gotten you down and it hurts to be outside? I find this a wonderful restorative.

An often overlooked gem in the Twin Cities! I always enjoyed field trips to the conservatory when I was in elementary school and still find it a nice, soothing place to go when you want some down time. It's nice to have a touch of the tropics during a cold winter!

This is the greatest place in all of Minnesota! It is free to get in (although donations are greatly appreciated) and it is like taking a mini vacation to the tropics. The over 100 year old building is wonderfully taken care of and it is truly a great place to see exotic plants.

The conservatory is a beautiful place to visit for a date, for a random wandering, or just for a quick getaway from the craziness of modern life. The flora are well maintained, the facility is in great condition, and the staff is friendly. Can't beat it for no required cost (suggested donation only ...

We arrived on time for our reservation, and we were let in almost immediately. A staff member briefly explained check in, the one way path, and how long til the closest restroom. Check in was a simple barcode scan that involved almost zero wait for the 3 families ahead of us. The one way path was ...

Beautiful park and conservatory! Bring your camera to get a shot of the famous sloth living in the tropical zone! Be sure to dress in layers, it gets pretty steamy inside after you enjoy an outdoor walk thru the zoo. Thank you Como for creating this fantastic gem!
