They provide the lowest quality canned food as well as “off brand” rice or pasta. It’s seems they go out of their way to get the cheapest inferior food. Why not spend a little more and give trusted brands? Most people are probably throwing the food out you give. Not worth the time.
Just read the article about the mobile pantry in Riverhead getting swamped in an hour, with more public support the important work of this group could make a bigger impact on East End hunger during Covid-19 and in the future! Please support this vital work, it is much needed!
