I didn't really like it here. It was so big and so many things to look at, you could legit spend an entire day here. I almost got lost because I couldn't find my way out, and they were announcing that they were closing and I panicked a little bit. It's not the easiest thing to navigate. If you love ...

Very interesting, full of incredible artifacts. It's so big and full of history that you almost get lost (but you don't, really).
Like all museums in Copenhagen, it's closed on Monday and free on Tuesday. Check out the shop as there are very interesting items, ideal for presents from Denmark

Really well done museum. I found the most interesting things we're on Floor 2 -- the more modern Danish history. Floor 0 has a popular Viking exhibit that is popular now (very crowded.) The upper floors have few attendees. This museum has a very broad collection. Instead of showing 10 or 50 daggers,...

If you visit Copenhagen, you'll want to visit the Danish National Museum. There are quite a few exhibits, so it's best to spend half a day here.

There are various exhibits from ancient times to modern times, so you can browse around without getting tired. However, since it is not a one-way street...

As it was a very warm day, we decided to go to the national museum. To our surprise it was nearly as hot inside - which made the tour through the house quite exhausting. Overloaded with artefacts, we nearly gave up close to the end.
What was surprising despite the many many things shown, was the la...

Fantastic museum with lots of great exhibits. There are lots of artefacts relating to Danish history but also world history. Around 50 kroner for entry. We were not travelling with children but there seemed to be lots for children to do. There is a cafe and a gift shop.

Informative and huge. The main exhibition is very extensive, and takes forever to go through, so if you are in Copenhagen for a shorter period of time, you should come here in the morning if you wanna make it. Too bad that it closes so early, which makes you go through it really fast if you go there...

Weird experience, but certainly not a bad one. The museum is really big, with lots of interesting stuff, but it also seem to be created in not much care. Most of the path that you can follow are in fact disconnected with each other, jumping from an Era to another randomly and sometimes without a con...

A jewel, a place you can not miss. The complete atonements, masterly and well described. I never imagined the contribution of Denmark to the world, a place to spend the whole day and understand that it is Copenhagen, very good cafeteria too. The Greenland exhibition is a must. The Vikings are master...

Really interesting museum with a lot of difference stuff from a very long timeline. You can pass from the different age in a smart way, there is a lot of explanation in english and it is really easy to explore it. Unfortunately there is few rooms about the Vikings' period.
