Camp Wiyaka is basically the best place EVER. I have been going for 7 years, and always have a wonderful experience. The staff members are extremely fun and responsible and they love you what they do. You should definitely come camp/work at Wiyaka.
YMCA Camps always offer a safe place for kids to experience different activities, learn new skills and make lots of new friends. Wiyaka was great! The counselors were all fun and enthusiastic. Camperships were available too at this YMCA Camp. I recommend highly!
This is a really fun camp! Besides the fun it also offers an experience which develops social values and life skills. Absolutely recommended as a place to spend a week as a camper or a summer as a staff member!
I went to this camp in 1978 age 7. This year 2016 my son attended his first week. I am so proud that this camp has continued its traditional ways and will go back. Christian values, supportive staff, great people, lots of fun....no wonder the kids like it so much.
