Even if you don't like opera, the festival on Lake Bregenz is a show not to be missed just to enjoy the scenography on the water, an element that in one way or another is used in the representation itself. Here the Carmen stage on stage in 2017-2018. The town is also a gem worth a visit anyway!

Highly recommended. The opera Carmen was sensational. Performance and artists were chosen correctly. The technique of the stage was unsurpassable. The stage sank in the lake and they also let it rain. You just have to experience the floating stage.

The performance of Carmen was terrific. When I saw the stage for the first time, I thought, oh God, how ugly. But during the performance and thanks to the excellent introduction, it became a true marvel of video technology. And the end, wow, I was scared for Carmen, but I do not want to spoil.
