How can they send you a bill in the mail for 30 do...

How can they send you a bill in the mail for 30 dollars with no indication of a late fee then you go online and boom late fee? The fees on the letter and the site do not add up. Why do I sense some shady stuff going on? This will be getting escalated real quick! How is this company allowed to be in business?!
