Heard about this place in the media(NOT the FAKE media) loved it.. great place! DO NOT come inside the perimeter often... but was intrigued... highly recommend! Lots of history... great food! Great prices! Great drinks!
It was wonderful revisiting a place I use to go to in college. Sat at the bar and try to do my own social distancing. Ordered a beer and a club sandwich. The sandwich came with turkey, ham and roast beef (asked that roast beef be taken out) & fries.

Great food. Great beer. Great atmosphere even in the middle of a pandemic. Service was great al around. Check it out if you're in the area.
This neighborhood tavern is a landmark of Atlanta's history. Stop in for a cold beer and a great tube steak (AKA hot dog). When you're there, say hello to Bill McCluskey over the bar. RIP Bill, we shared some fond memories. You were a good man & you are missed.
I know Manuel's is struggling right now, but they shouldn't be. They are following all the safety protocols and they need your help. My favorite dish is the French Dip. It is not only excellent, but it only costs $11! Their entire menu is very reasonably priced and the staff is extremely friendly...
Went in to pick up an order and the young lady in charge of UberEats & DoorDash orders offered me some water. I really appreciated that. It's hard to find an open, CLEAN restroom let alone a friendly face when doing deliveries, so thank you so much!

They setup outdoor seating due to covid-19. The weather was beautiful, the staff was friendly and fast, and the food was really good!
We love Manuel's Tavern. So iconic and such amazing history. A great watering hole with good food and service. Can't go wrong here. Ordered the club sandwich. Excellent! The steak fries were a bit cold and seemed quite old, but I'm giving them a pass. They took great care of us today.
I ve been here twice. First time was great- no complaints. Tried to go again a few weeks ago and it was pretty dead (not busy). We were told to sit where we wanted.
