This is a one of a kind place for sure. All of the people we met while visiting here were both polite and funny. There are hundreds of masks and puppets on display. Although everything is kept outside and in a barn, it was both a comfortable temperature and clean. It was interesting to be able to se...

An incredible experience of honest art. Truly unique. Has history. Was my favorite part of Vermont. A great place to buy art too. Bring cash & a warm jacket. It's in a barn with no heating and you'll want to stay awhile to make sure you view everything. Be sure to go upstairs.

A truly magical experience on a Sunday afternoon: the museum, live performances, the circus then a pageant and all for just a $10 donation. Political, artistic, inspiring and funny. Do not miss this place but check website for performance schedule.

This place is amazing. Go upstairs you won't believe what you see up there! They need a sign to tell people they have a second floor. They sell posters and funny hand made quirky items here too. This place is free to visit but I would drop a few dollars in their donation box on the wall. We brought ...

I enjoy the political satire, and the thought , time and effort that is obviously put in these shows to the get the message out. The comedic humor is to die for. You really have to know your country's political view and aspirations to understand a lot of it. But I've been going there a a kid and I ...

This is an odd place, but if you find yourself on your way here you probably already know that! I love their art and passed by it accidentally while traveling in VT. It was very cool to visit their museum/store. There is no one in the store, it's a cash box with an honor system. It's a quick stop if...

I'm gonna be honest, I don't know how to describe the experience I had or even what I saw. It was a wild ride, however, the passion and dedication of the performers was there. You can tell they put a lot of work into their shows and designs. I'd recommend going to see at least once. And prepare to b...

Jaw-dropping wonderment. From the generous, eloquent and incredibly informative tour of the museum and the clay oven for bread, by Elka, who emphasized the importance and value of the bread-baking as much as the puppetry to the mind-blowing museum collection of what seemed like an infinite number o...

One of the most incredible places I have ever been in my life, honestly. If you are an artist or a fan of public art, protests, or art intervention you MUST visit them. The museum is a beautiful, deep, tall barn of 4 stories that chronicles the puppet history of the troupe, dating back to the 60's. ...
