Love love this place but I love books and old buildings.. just to visit sand have coffee is a treat .

What a place to have a book shop! Gorgeous, nicely preserved location. A must see in Zwolle. Helpful staff, reasonable prices. Good selection of magazines and peripherals, excellent Dutch language book choice. English books somewhat limited, and lacking in classics. Regardless, a Zwolle landmark.

As far as I know, a unique place - a bookstore in an old church. Although you would not like books, just walk in to see what this looks like, and have a coffee there. If you like books, then take a few hours before your visit and first stop by everywhere before you start searching. An extensive collection, including non-fiction, is well represented.

Waanders is just a special case. Where else can you buy books and then use a tasty snack and / or a craft beer? Recommended!

A fantastic location in a renovated cathedral with a very good lunchroom and good service. Minus was only the hassle with tickets for the toilet and then also having to pay

Big store but not with as much books as I would have liked. More of the standard travel guides and literature. It's more of a culture store then a book store (it has art, music and tabletop games)

Nicest bookshop in the country. People are happy to help you, they also know a lot. Often busy in the restaurant on the ground floor, but a hidden coffee bar in the ridge. There you can also find the answer to a secret, which is under the floor (without revealing the surprise). In addition to books in all imaginable genres, they also have games and nice gifts. Here you can enjoy yourself all afternoon!

It will be alright with that secularisation in the Netherlands. In any case, you can do wonderful things in buildings like this that have lost their original function.
