The Osbourne Hotel, Torquay Reviews

Lovely hotel with beautiful views from our room and from the bar terrace. The room (superior double) was very comfortable, with everything we needed, though there was room for a much bigger and better designed sink in the spacious en suite. The restaurant was very nice, we ended up eating there both nights of our stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and all social distancing measured were observed without question. We were temperature checked before entering the bar or restaurant, and wore masks when moving around the hotel. Really well done, I would happily stay here again.

Coming back to this haven of tranquility when annual leave allows. Last time cut short due to covid. Ate here every night as the food was impeccable from the start. Later found out that our stay spanned across three different chefs! So all good. . Staff have time for you and are well mannered, so give them some respect. Room had a panaoramic view across the bay and we enjoyed our stay immensely. They have a good gym and there's also a zoo about twenty mins drive away.

Great place to stay, Chloe couldn't have been more helpful and polite. Had friends visit from Essex and after a stressful trip down she helped them out when they were tired and a bit confused.

Lovely quiet hotel, away from the main harbour but close enough to walk to the harbour. Lovely food and staff. rooms also very nice.

Visited on a work trip and there were good and bad points about this hotel. The concierge/receptionist was outstanding, ordered me a taxi, helped with queries and showed us to our breakfast table. The room was adequate, it was windy and you could hear every whistle in the room which kept me awake. Room noise from other residents wasn't too great either. The onsite gym is very good and surprisingly well equipped since I am making a comparison to a david lloyd near my home. A really good atmosphere also. My room was 104 pounds for a night. The swimming pool is a decent size but is let down by its cleanliness - there were a few items floating in the pool which was really off putting. The service certainly made up for this. Unsure whether I would revisit at this price

We came here to celebrate a special birthday and had a lovely time, weather wasn t too kind to us so will have to revisit in the summer to use the outdoor facilities. We drove into Torquay but again would be a nice walk in the summer! Breakfasts lovely and wasn t any trouble to change/alter items. Room was lovely and very clean
