The Manor House Hotel Reviews

Manor House is a beautiful old historic building that is massive. There is a separate section for weddings , with beautiful gardens to accommodate such. Car parking at front of hotel is first come, first served, good for loading / unloading luggage but appear to be used by locals as well. Main car park at rear is large but beware the school traffic in the afternoon - it appears out of know where! Breakfast & restaurant is very good, high standard, bar is well stocked and as residents never seems to close - we were never kicked out! Staff very friendly and helpful, safes In Rooms, rooms are lovely, beds very comfortable = very sleep friendly. We enjoyed our stay, well return - not cheap but you only get what you pay for! - recommended.

One of our favourites hotels. We first ate and stayed here over 13 years ago and nice to see it is still a lovely place. The garden has a lovely old mulberry tree in it. We recently went for drink and lunch and it was great. Would recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with impeccable service from staff. We went there for a very short but beautiful honeymoon after we brought our wedding forward (original wedding was cancelled thanks to lockdown). We can't wait to go back, thank you so much.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was lovely with two nice windows. Sadly of the three wall lights only one was working. But we still had one long lamp and the two side lamps working. The restaurant at the Manor House Hotel. We were booked at 20:30 but were seated only at 9pm. The restaurant only had three tables occupied, just wondering why this waiting! Our order was taken at the bar while we were waiting to be seated. I was in a fishy mood and went for the sole but was told they had no sole. I could get the same dish with haddock. They are different fish on taste and... price too, but accepted the haddock. The lamb of my partner was supposed to come with a green sauce but instead, he got a little jug of gravy! We asked the lovely waitress why. She read the menu and said 'you're right. I don't know why. Let me go and check with the chef'. In the meantime the table next to us was having that same dish with gravy. The lovely waitress came back and said that she was told the green sauce was underneath with the vegetables. Although she came back with a little pot of green sauce! Maybe because there was not any green sauce in the veg underneath the lamb? Well. It was good anyway. We ordered the dessert too at the bar but we were asked after our meal if we wanted a dessert? I just re-ordered it. Not a big deal. It was a really good meal afterwards. You just expect a "no mistake" when you spend a certain amount for a dinner. Otherwise staff was lovely. Don't know the name of that waitress but we loved her. We also loved waiter Patrick, not sure spelling is right as he is Polish. We had a nice conversation with him. The Manor House Hotel... Dinner took more stars thanks to them, treat them well. Would I go back? Yes I would... maybe?

Food great,staff outstanding we were delayed over an hour getting there,when we phoned to tell them they were great and still accommodated us at the later time.

Excellent service, nice bar. Very attractive rooms with sparkling clean bathrooms. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Nice decor in rooms, even if a bit small. Good tea selection and biscuits, but only instant coffee available in the room. Loved it.

Lovely stay a real treat. Will be coming again food Great.

First visit with friends for dinner in the Brasserie. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The whole experience was great and we left saying we would definitely recommend The Manor House to others.

Stunning wedding venue in the heart of the Cotswolds. An absolute photographers dream and 5* service

Perfect location, excellent accommodation and delicious food
Loved every minute. Just a word of advise..lots of very steep stairs and no lift. But, there's a great street market every Tuesday a couple of minutes walk away in the village.
