HISTORY HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY LOVE SO BLESSED TO HAVE SEEN THE DR.MARTIN LUTHER KING LEARNING CENTER
sad that homeless tents and trash is located directly across from Ebenezer Church
It was great to see Dr. King s legacy continue. I respect his unorthodox and radical way to reach people. I think that the similar narrative to Dr. King s movement and that of Jesus is that when individuals want to spread unconditional love it never ends well for that person. Obviously, there are a few differences between these two, Jesus being God in the flesh which is being completely God. However, Dr. King was definitely a saint and was doing God s work.
So informational and inspiring and couldn't go end but still nice experience.
It was such a surreal moment to see The King Center, where he lived growing up, and the church he would give his sermons at. I m so glad that I was given the opportunity to visit such places in such a short amount of time.
They're still closed due to covid-19 but the outside is beautiful. However, the gift shop is still open.
Very memorable and serene. Helpful staff and well-maintained.
Very poignant and historical site dedicated to the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Due to Covid, the museum, and other related sites were closed to tours, inside the facilities, to the general public. But don't let this deter you from visiting this important memorial. MLK's birthplace, burial site and the Ebenezer Baptist Church are co-located and just a short walk to reach all sites. Handicap accessible. Ample, free parking. A must see!
