The ambience of this place is amazing, a little forest and a green cover in the middle of Bangalore city.
The food is also good..

Wow! It feels like you're in a hillstation, when you visit this luxury hotel, with cottages hidden away amongst tall trees and geese and ducks casually roaming around!

Some renovation works are going on and bit of congestion is there. Hope it will be through soon.

The atmosphere was quite good and I would definitely love to visit again.

5-star deluxe hotel, and one of the older hotels in Bangalore. Good ambience and service. Always nice to see a hotel spread out horizontally rather than vertically! Nice place for hosting events. Food quality is good too.

Had been to a dinner party. The property is old but the ambience was great. The staff was courteous. Food wasn't extraordinary, it was fine. There was a some confusion as we were a group of 15 and we opted for a la carte. I was disappointed with the fact that when they were serving rice the spoon was touching the used plates. Don't expect that in a 5 star restaurant.

We stayed here over the weekend as a family escape and to celebrate our anniversary. The staff has been extremely kind and thoughtful with lots of suprises for us which made our stay very special! The food quality at Mynt was extremely good and upto a 5 star standard. Even food at Blue ginger was outstanding..The chef and other staff even offered a complimentary dessert to ensure that my little one was happy and this was a very nice gesture and shows their dedication towards customer satisfaction.
The property is beautiful with its flora and fauna.
Doesnt feel like you are in the heart of the city at all!!

A Best in class hotel which has great amenities and has conference hall. I had been here for Times Ascent Quiz and the services provided where excellent. It also has Blue Bar with Vietnamese Cuisine. It has a small pool and quite a few turkeys roaming around. Please check out my photos for some highlights.

I had huge expectations on my experience at Taj West End. However, i feel that it is just a name now or that their exemplary service assumed to be a given is conditional. All said, i am not saying it is bad, it has so much expectations that it did not meet.

Visited Taj as a part of attending a workshop organized by a company. The location is prime, center of the city, and it's pretty easy to get there. Security was impressive. And the crew in the reception were so nice and courteous.
They have a nice lawn with so much well maintained greenery, with chairs laid out to relax in the sun, lot of shade - you will fall in love with the place at first sight. In Bangalore, weather being pretty windy, you can just sit in the shades and relax. It was a full-filling feeling.
Pool was under maintenance. Had a smoking area nearby, pretty thoughtful.
Lunch was delicious and delightful. The items were plenty. Loved the starters and deserts especially. And they were very attentive in cleaning and clearing soiled plates.
Overall a fantastic experience.
The place still retains the classic look while meeting all the expectations of modern facilities.

Peacocks are too passe in India, so this place has turkeys roaming the lawn. This place is ridiculously pleasant and high end. The room cabins are not the highest-maintained, but given you're in colonial-style huts surrounded by palms, it can have a few rough edges. The buffet is amazing. It's like a well-maintained golf-course, without the golf.

Heritage property. Blue ginger is the an award winning restaurant.

Mixed experience. First the good - excellent property, very lush, quiet, just what you need to escape from the city. The service is impeccable. Food is amazing (I just got to sample the breakfast buffet and it was nothing short of amazing). In fact, if you've stayed at a Taj property, you know what to expect.

Now the bad - the switches in the room are unintuitive, I had issues with operating the flush on multiple occasions, mini bar was empty (disclaimer: I was on a business trip so maybe that is a norm, unappreciated anyway), there is no bidet in the toilet, and I'm going to once again mention how unintuitive the switches in the rooms are - very confusing. WiFi is extremely slow, AC thermostat is too loud every time it switches on in the night.

An amazing property of Taj with a legacy of more than 125 years history. Such a heritage which was started as a boarding school with 12 rooms during the British era with a continued level of hospitality by the TATAs which is ever emerging.

Surrounded by greenery and a canopy of age old tress just adds the richness in taste to the property.

Coming to food, good restaurant with cuisines from South to North India, with an offshore run from Chinese to Italian to Continental with a few Mediterranean and Mexican dishes as well. Also, they have a good stock of wine!

It's Taj, so name itself enough to know about Quality! But the highlight here is it's in Heart Of City so when comes to attend any event/functions its just very convenient.

Really enjoyed our 4 day stay. The staff were all very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel is well located for tourists. Bangalore Palace, Cubbon Park and Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace were close by. We could get a rick/ tuk tuk to the city centre for R100.
Food and drink at the hotel are the same as any 4 star hotel in other parts of the world. You pay for quality food and very attentive service.
It was a wonderful peaceful haven to return to at the end of each day's outing.

Taj West End is preserved heritage buildings from the 19th Century, beautiful atmosphere with pleasant sit out dining area. This hotel have award winning multiple speciality restaurants. If you visit you love this place like anything.

Food is good. Ambiance is awesome. But you know everything comes at a price here
