Staff is great and they are doing all the right things with masks and guests were good with complying. Walking down to the river was great, down the 1000 steps and back up. The two fire pits are great as well as wildlife viewing. The review isn't 5 stars due to the lack of attention to details which weren't big, but they added up.

Overall experience was good if you are willing to take care of yourself during your stay. Don't expect to get what you need if not already clearly mark when booking the room (no mini-fridge, no kettle, microwave, nothing extra including such as gym mat). Gym, spa, and other restaurants are not on the property - so expect to have to dress up to go anywhere. The room was fine, but not so clean (bathroom yuk). The staff is great when they were their mask properly. I wish there was a Starbucks onsite! Bring your bike, good hiking shoes, snacks, and a cooler and you'll have a great stay!

Everything fun is by appointment (fitness center, pool, spa), rooms don't have microwaves or little fridges. Body bar soap instead of hand soap lol staff was not too... hospitable, maybe a little impatient, maybe petty. little things made us leave early. I think this was in part because of covid. But uh try and enjoy yourselves. Make plans and activities. Heard of a better place in Roslyn that is always completely booked. The name is the name of a flower. Forgot.

What an absolutely magical resort with unbelievable views for the Christmas time. We had the most beautiful Christmas holidays, comfortable stay and so many activities to do. Highly recommended for the Christmas season

First of all, the location is spectacular. There are trails and beautiful scenery everywhere. The lobby area has a floor to 2nd story window that is a wonderful place to sit and gaze at the scenery while enjoying a drink. Unfortunately, the rooms are pretty awful. It's very dated and worn, but that would be okay if that was the only issue. However, our room did not seem like it was cleaned. The glass door to the patio had marks and smears all over it. There was an odd stain on the wood to the side of the fireplace. There was dirt/dust on the mantel. Some kind of liquid drops on the bathroom floor - not water. Worse, there was a stain on the duvet that we didn't notice until day 2. The staff was very responsive and offered to have someone clean it and offered a credit for the inconvenience. Someone did come up and clean the window, but unfortunately, it looked like that's the only thing. The 4-star price is way too high for this kind of 2-star accommodation.

We loved our stay here! Highly recommend coming here! Been wanting to try it out for years now. Decided to go for a birthday weekend. They seem to be doing all the Covid precautions right. They re obviously only operating at 50% capacity I think. Pools open as well as the fitness center. But you have to make reservations, so when you book your stay make sure you know when that window opens to reserve those times. The swim times fill up within minutes. And they re not bending the rules. So just plan ahead make sure you know when to make reservations for the pool, fitness center and tubing, you are good!
