As blue collar workers and native San Franciscans, my wife and I were used to being disrespected and shunned in a very changed San Francisco. I had overextended my credit trying to pay ridiculously high rent in San Francisco and maintain our mobile home in Sonoma (which Sonoma Fed financed a loan for us to purchase when no one else would). I was afraid to ask for help due to our bad experiences with our other credit union. But Dave and Sonoma Federal helped us. He understood our dilemma and didn t judge us.
