Beautiful hotel, so clean and hygienic. And the staff are so helpful, they can't do enough for you. Great for couples and families.

Superb hotel, very relaxing, the staff are welcoming and non-intrusive. It is a large complex with several swimming pools. Ideal as a couple or as a family.

Had a superb 4 nights here after staying at The Atlantis. More "adult" yet still unreal service and food. Thank you.

I've seen many "five" star hotels in my life.
The Sofitel "luxury" Palm hotel in Dubai was by far the worst I've every experienced.
Why?

The hotel has not atmosphere at all. The LOBBY looks like a new fancy train station in Bejing and has a similiar inspiring attitude - simply big, noisy and unfriendly.
Same with the main restaurant.
The BEACH is way to small for this crowd of people. You can littarly see what other are texting into their mobile phones as you are so close to each and everyone.
If you think you can simply order something on the beach, I mean nothing special, just an expresso for example, you will struggel to get a waiter for at least 45 minutes, and of cours, it will also take at least 45 minutes until your expresso will be delivered.. In the meantime the expresso will propably have lost some of it's temperatur.. And yeah, at that time you haven't received the bill yet, just to keep that in mind..
The CONSIERGE isn't very helpfull at all. You can't expect to get any advise from him of a certain kitchen or location to have dinner. If you can tell him exactly where to go, he might be able to book a table for you.. But my experience was that he was "told" that its fully booked and when I personally called up they suddenly had a table.. He might just called up an other restaurant indeed, because that also happend as we arrived in a restaurant asking for our table/reservation, which wasnt done at that restaurant even I was told so from the consierge...
The ROOM didn't look that bad actually. The problem was that the lights weren't really working. During sleeping hours they used to turn on suddenly, few times per night.. In the morning, the light in the bathroom was not working properly.. A so called 5 STAR LUXURY hotel would notice that by itself, at least this is my experience from proper 5 star hotels.. Last but not least, a fire alarm went off? Right, not a bad thing in case of a REAL fire - but a VERY BAD thing in case of NO FIRE and 6.00 am...
THE GENERAL MANAGER, after the wrong fire alarm I asked the consierge to meet with the GM, the consierge promised me, that the GM would meet me in my room at 12 pm... I dont know if he every really intended to meet with me, I left the room at 12.30 pm..
MY ADVISE: PRICE/QUALITY TOTAL MISSMATCH. DON'T GO.

Amazing hotel with excellent facilities and friendl professional service. Loved the French toast at breakfast. My daughter loved the swimming pools.

Great hotel for families with children. Heated children's pool and sand. Impeccable service.

Great hotel and we were very pleased. Offer their own taxi service. But it costs about twice as much as a normal taxi.

A brilliant resort.
We spent the day there, an amazing layout with lots of hidden away pools. The long beach front is great. We only eat from the pool bar but for what it was it was well over priced. As Privillee members we get a discount off F&B which made it okay. We will definitely return.

The rooms are very comfortable, the staff are attentive and helpful. There are many activities for adults and children alike.

There are 5 restaurants on site and all have provided excellent service.

The only fault I can find is that we have to leave :-(

Loved this hotel, when I visited we had the junior suite's and I have to say it was one of my best stay in Dubai for myself and guests, would love to do it again but can't find that deal again. Would highly recommend, one of my best part of this stay was the bathtub in the middle of the room as I would watch the football.

It's a really lovely place. The view of the ocean makes it a place to visit in Dubai.

Not worth the money. Room service is very poor you have to ask many times. The wifi is not very fast. Room is ok but only 2 plugs to charge your devices (none of them near bed). Also the "sea view luxury suite" has A BIT of sea view on the 3rd floor but you mainly see a very awful rooftop with cigarettes thrown on it.
Definately not coming back. For the same price you can get WAY better in the Palm.

I have stayed at many hotels but this one is by far my best,staff are helpful,food choices were amazing though it was pricey but definitely one of my best

What a beautiful place with an amazing team on staff. Quite literally once of the best places I have stayed in Dubai and the service is second to none. Treated my mum to a few nights here in the prestige suite - access to Compimentary club lounge, it was everything we hoped for and more.
Great location, amazing view, excellent facilities & restaurants. Lots of beautiful hotels on The Palm, I think the team here make a significant difference!

Spectacular location! Wonderful hotel, incredible decoration both in the rooms and in all the rooms. A 10 in cleaning. Highly recommended The attention of the super attentive and pleasant staff, advise you of everything you can do and see.

The resort was beautiful and the employees very friendly and helpful.

The indian restaurant Zoya is great. It has a lovely ambience. The food is delicious and service is attentive and friendly. Definitely worth trying.

Had the most amazing 10 days at the Sofitel. Even in these current challenging times.

From the moment we arrived the Manager Solomon and his team, catered for our every need.

Myself and my 9 family members were looked after by all the staff, from immaculate rooms to great waitering service not only in the restaurants but also by the pool.

As a family of we are all plantbased, the chefs at the beginning of our week sat down with us and gave us all the possibilities to adapt to our dietary requirements.

Last put not least if you are going for a holiday where you can relax and enjoy the weather and food at the various restaurants. I highly recommend you get a massage at the Spa at the hotel. Incredible value for money.

Just at the top !!! Fantastic location, magnificent rooms and apartments, the different pools are great, slide, waterfall, jacuzzi .. Each space is designed for the pleasure of the eyes and of each one .. The restaurants are at the top! The Kid's Club is awesome!

Fabulous hotel, very clean rooms but main thing for us is the valet parking. My husband and I visit Dubai a few times a year and stay at a different hotel on the palm each time we visit. We hire cars each time for our entire stay from Kings Car Rental which is dropped off at the airport on our arrival. We drove to Sofitel The Palm to check in, pulled up outside and usually at the previous hotels we have stayed at as soon as a car comes through the hotel entrance multiple members of staff come up to the car, open the doors, greet you, ask if you are checking in, do you have any luggage?, give you a valet parking card and take the car. This did not happen, we pulled up outside the entrance door, there was no other cars there, at least 5 staff members outside doing absolutely nothing, just looking at us, nobody came over, nothing. We were very confused as this is not the service we are used to in other hotels in Dubai, we found a space and parked up and got out the car, the staff still doing nothing just looking at us, we opened the boot thinking they will see our luggage and realise we are checking in and will help us, nope, still nothing. One member of staff actually stood there and watched us struggle getting our luggage out the car and continued to watch as we wheeled our cases right up to the entrance doors to the lobby and then ran over and asked if we needed help with our luggage once we had done all the work ourselves as he watched us. After a few days of awful valet parking service we complained to a member of staff at reception about it, another member of staff overheard our complaint and came up to us straight away to sort it out. His name is Salman, what can I say, from that moment on he was absolutely amazing! So friendly, so helpful, so polite and so accommodating. Each time we arrived at the hotel he would come running over, open our doors, greet us, ask about our day and organise our valet parking. He always went above and beyond for us, he really works hard and takes pride in what he does. His attention to detail is impeccable. He always remembered our names which I feel makes it a personal, more 1-2-1 special stay. Salman also gave us a beautiful Christmas card and a box of chocolates each which again is a more personal and special experience and very kind of him. Salman really did make our whole stay at Sofitel The Palm perfect and we actually want to return to Sofitel because of him and to see him again of course as he is so lovely. My main purpose of writing this review is for Salmans hard work to be recognised and for him to be rewarded for it as he is the ONLY member of staff actually doing something outside which I believe is very important as that is the first impression you get when arriving at any hotel. Salman also helped us with our key card as one day it wasn t working and we couldn t get into our room. Salman really did take on any role and just adapted to it straight away and did everything possible to accommodate us no matter what the issue was. Salman also pre booked us a taxi to take us to the airport for our return home, he really couldn t do enough for us. Salman is also the only member of staff that had the biggest most positive impact on our whole stay. In my opinion Salman should be in charge of the valet parking/bell boys as is seems he is alert to everything going on and doing everything on his own anyway! Salman is always on the ball, I have never seen him standing around doing nothing, he is always on the go, greeting guests and doing his job unlike the others. So Thankyou Salman for making our stay a memorable one and for being so helpful and hard working, you truly are amazing and we hope your hard work and commitment to your job is recognised. I still love our vacation at Sofitel the Palm. It is really beautifully laid out, is very quiet and was very good in almost all aspects.

I have never seen the choice of food, especially the different restaurants, their offer and quality.
In comparison, we liked the Manama the best, the quality of the food and the service were really sensational for a buffet restaurant.

The decor in the whole hotel is more than successful and super modern. However, it still fits the Polynesian theme. I was delighted with the decor of the room. Really very spacious and well furnished, both visually and qualitatively. Examples: a great bed (king size), a good stereo system from Bose and a really great bathroom.

However, I have two points of criticism even if you have to classify them in comparison to the many great things.
We were in the standard room which had a direct view of the adjoining salt water purifier. For this I find the price for these rooms comparatively too expensive.
I found the drinks much too expensive. A caipirinha for, I mean, 15. In addition, served in a small glass and not in a caipi glass. Unfortunately, that put a strain on my overall impression. The house water offered also costs 10 a bottle and is the cheapest offered. Unfortunately not of a corresponding quality.

Still to be fully recommended. At the time, price / performance was still right for us.

Ok I got confused between Sofitel and Sheraton. Sofitel has an awesome cold plunge that makes me appreciate death.

Beautiful and elegant. The least you'd expect from a 5-Star resort. From friendly staff to 1km natural beach - there's plenty to do here at your leisure. I would definitely recommend this place especially the Opera apartment with exclusive access to the VIP Club which I loved. Also very family friendly.

The best resorts in Dubai me and my kids enjoy it the kids club is amazing my kids crying they don't want leave it and there's alot of swimming pools + beach that's mean manu choice for swimming also i like the photographer around the swimming pool and beach taking pictures for the people and you can see your photos and print it later

You can get a day pass for the pool here. Lovely pool spa and private beach. Drinks reasonable too and amazing surroundings.

Mediocre for a 5-star luxury and multi-award-winning hotel. The rooms are very good in terms of cleanliness and service. When the plants are very small compared to hotels in Turkey. For example there is only one pool. The sand between the gravel and the sand on the beach and the water deepens very quickly and you have to swim in a very small area because your swimming area is limited. There are no activities other than water sports, which you can buy day and night with the hotel's additional fee. Although we were a honeymoon couple and stated this, only one chocolate was placed in our room. Restaurants are between medium and good but very expensive.

15 minutes walk to Atlantis to reach this wonderful hotel. Clear, fresh water, full of fish even though we are on an inner arm of La Palma. Booking at the Moana restaurant free access to the beach and swimming pool, with umbrellas and towels.

It is very lovely area and very brillient place for visitter

Stayed here in May as part of our honeymoon holiday. Faultless from start to finish. Upgraded our room on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Great options for food and drink as there are 6 or 7 restaurants. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Great beach and pool staff. Great breakfast buffet that caters to almost all preferences. Only negative is that the Bose speakers in the room need updating to include Bluetooth function as only useful for iPod unless you have connection converters etc.

Clean, apartments are large and have a balcony and many swimming pools for children of all ages and adults, a children's club, a mini market, a spa, a pharmacy, a beauty salon and many more and I recommend it

Its one of the nice and great Coustomer service Hotel in Dubai

I was completely satisfied with everything! 5 of us arrived at the hotel and got a wonderful, spacious room. All apartments are close to the breakfast area, but if you do not want to walk over the phone you can call a small golf cart that will take you to your requested location. The drivers were very friendly, not intrusive, Bonifac was one of our favorites. We had a similar experience with the waiters if we wanted to give them some tips only after a long snooze. Their answer to this was that it was not important to them because they would receive their salary and it would mean more to them if we were to visit her the next evening. The beach part of the hotel is fantastic! We were given clean towels every day just to ask and they made our bed. The overall environment of the hotel is clean with no dirt or neglect anywhere. Sincerely recommend this hotel to everyone, you will not regret it!
