Service at the club is excellent but the concierge and front desk at the main lobby normal rooms was terrible and the staffs were rude!

Hotel located in the centre of Shanghai. Unfortunately room and service at the hotel is below average for the Sofitel brand but it was ok for a 1 night stay.

Need renovation. Cold and unpleasant staff. Room service not friendly at all. Elevator down more than 24h. A shame for a sofitel. Never again

Although being friendly doesn't make up for being daft. reception authorised payment on my debit card...

Almast clean place, very good position (200m walking from yu garden metro stop), employee speak good english.

Mouldy and musty rooms, uncomfortable beds, aircon barely worked, likewise for the tv s. If only the nice looking and smelling lobby was carried over upstairs to the rooms.

Super convenient location on the fun street. Friendly stuff with English skill. Lovely breakfast buffet. :-)

Horrible service for four star hotel, let alone any hotel. I ve never had such bad service in my life. It was a horrid experience from the start. Check in took us over 30 minutes. Service at the bar was poor, the waiter sat down on the sofa next to me to pull out his iPhone to calculate the total for the bill. Went to the concierge to ask for directions to a travel souvenir store and had the vaguest description in my life. Head out and turn left he said. When I tried to clarify he changed and said head out and turn right .

The service standard here is just poor. Aside from the need of the prime location next to the walking street, I d strongly recommend staying at a different establishment.

Love this place. have stayed many times. Service is always and consistently excellent. right on Nanjing road and close to the bont. Definitely recommend getting the upgrade to a premium room. Club sofitel is great. They all speak great English and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend. We stayed this christmas with 6 of us. 3 adults 3 children. loved it.

Overpriced...its all about the location, breakfast ok but not worth the money. Staff is friendly and check-in/out was fast. Rooms are ok. Location is top.

Awesome hotel. Highly recommend especially the Sofitel club on top floor, pay a bit extra when you check in and get special check in on top floor and drinks and food plus a cocktail hour with beer and wine and mini buffet all included in price.

Great hotel with the most convenient location. The breakfast at the club lounge is excellent.

Cozy hotel

I've stayed here twice in the last 13 months and love the location and breakfast brunch. The location is easy to walk to from the metro station and also easy to get to the food center for some Shanghai soup dumplings
