Staff goes above and beyond in service. Was about to leave and they asked if we were going to do more shopping, if so we could leave it there until we were done. We said it was a gift so they rewrapped it and added a bow and fresh moss to pretty it up. Awesome place. Thank you!

This store just makes me happy. You can find an assortment of indoor and outdoor items and they always feel personal. Very northwest feel to everything but with a little extra flair. It also smells wonderful.

Excellent plants. The ones I purchased are thriving and had no root issues when I checked them out at home. I recommend this place. The gift shop side is also pretty cute. Definitely things I would buy as gifts.

Wherever I travel, I always check out gardening stores and so stumbling upon this garden store made my day. The staff was so friendly and explaining to me the craft person who was the artist behind this amazing piece of handcrafted furniture. They had so much variety of perennials and in particular succulents for the indoor gardener. I always collect seeds for a cut flower garden and they had quite a collection to choose from. A beautiful store that is more like an oasis.

such a cute little shop! not the best parking situation going on but I love coming here to find new house plants, both indoor and out. they also have a good selection to planters/pots to choose from. I bought my patio set from here years ago and it still looks and works as new. I definitely recommend coming here over any other shop in Seattle. all of the associates are very knowledgeable about how to care for various plants. been such a huge help!

Stopped by for a last minute gift for a friend on my way home from work. I had no idea what I was looking for, but the woman behind the counter was super helpful and showed me several options. In minutes I had a little bud vase in her favorite color in a great little gift box. Didn't have time to look around but will be back soon to check out the rest of the place.

Very well cared for plants, wonderful gift shop. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I found some plants that I haven't seen other places. Will visit this skip every time I'm in Seattle!

My absolute favorite store in Uville. The staff is friendly and offers great tips on how to care for plants. Everything is fairly priced and there is a huge selection. Definitely worth it to stop by!

A lovely oasis in the University District. Pot designer Barbara Libner has shown off her handiwork in fine style. Parking is dicey due to nearby construction but a visit to this breath of beauty is worth the effort!

I stopped in a couple months ago to ask about buying some potting soil and a pot. I can't believe this happened, and I honestly want to give a good review because I love garden stores in general, and if people are having a bad day I can give them the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, it was my first time coming in. I wandered the store first to see if I could find what I needed, but it was pretty specific so I approached the knowledgeable looking person at the front counter. They were doing something at the desk. I walked up to within four feet, facing them and waited patiently. For literally two minutes I stood directly in front of this person, not wanting to disturb them, but finally said softly, "excuse me?" and waved my hand low down to where their eyes were pointing. This person didn't even bother to look up. I cleared my throat a bit loudly, still nothing. Keep in mind I was standing 3-4 feet away. At this point I was pretty sure they didn't want me there. I should note that day I was not dressed to the nines, and I had a backpack on (student, using it as a purse) so my instinct was she assumed I didn't have the money to shop there. I did, but even if I really didn't have money, some basic human respect would have been cool. I felt like a ghost! I'll give this place one more chance this spring, but man it's gonna be hard to come in.

A great park for hikes, views, and picnics. Immerse yourself in the overwhelming greenery. Definitely go for the fall colors. Very nice if it is foggy, also, for brisk walks, fresh air, and contemplation.

Love this place. They have not only plants of your choosing, also huge selection of vases, note cards, a kitchen area filled with linens, napkins, placemats, soaps, coasters, olive wood cheese platters, small vessels like serving dishes and bowls, some garden tools and gift items like jewelry (earrings, necklaces), and some small potted cactus plants for gift giving or for yourself.

Oh my I cannot begin to explain how impressed with this store I was! I ve been informed Barbara is responsible for the design/layout which is so appealing to the eye. Even if you re not interested in buying it s a great place to spend time. Holly and Dianne were both very knowledgeable and went above and beyond in ensuring I was informed and aware of different plants or flowers I may be interested in. An absolute complete experience from quality of goods to excellent customer service!

We've spent way more here than I care to admit, but it's really hard not to. It is our go to place for plants and a new addiction. Between the helpful staff who always go a step above (ordered additional vases for us to pick through, always providing direction for plant care, knowledgeable), the wide selection, and relatively good prices, it's a great shop!!

Nice, pleasant, and have tons of varieties of plants. It gives you the feeling it's floor to ceiling plants and it is a nice atmosphere. Very Cottage-core vibe with little trinkets and things to complement a plant parent's household.

The staff didn't greet me. They didn't ask if I was looking for anything as I circled the store 3 times. They didn't ask if I found what I was looking for when I made my purchase. And when I left they didn't say goodbye or even "thank you for your purchase". I came to U Village just to visit this shop, but I won't go back for a while.

Came in the first time just to browse for plants and accessories. While they have a very large selection of plant pots, various accessories, and random other goods (many that smell good), they tend to be very expensive. Displays are visually pleasing and everything they have is adorable (If I could I'd buy everything). I walked away with two plants, one of which was very dry but is doing wonderfully now and the other is also doing wonderfully. Not the greatest variety of houseplants, but they have most of the standards (various pothos, monstera deliciosa and adansonii, some snake plants, I saw one hoya, and a lot of succulents) and they have quite a few outdoor plants. The second time I came in looking for a specific alocasia (type of houseplant) and was told that they believed it would come in with a new plant delivery (Deliveries are on Tuesdays!). I came back on Wednesday and they had a type of alocasia but not the specific one i was looking for. I do wish that the staff was more aware of what types of plants they have in stock/are getting in stock, but understand that they don't! TLDR; Accessories and pots are very expensive but everything is super cute, Staff is overall helpful, but less helpful about rarer/less known houseplants, Not a super large variety of houseplants.
