When you tell someone you have a ticket, or you are on your way to the Philip Sherlock Center their eyes will open wide and the facial expression will glee. Why do I say that? This Center over the years provides enviable training that produces stop class students that you can guarantee becomes internationally famous. Some of the best production - dance, songs, acting, lighting arrangements, sounds have been displayed at this so special, cosy, romantic, always loved theatre where only the best is good enough. Ahaaa.

Been here a few times for live entertainment and it was always very good. It's not a large theater but the sound and lighting is very good. Ample parking is available especially as classes are more than likely not in session when a play or other activity is showing. If classes are in session then parking could be a challenge.

Philip Sherlock Centre For The Creative Arts, is a little big theater on the University of the West Indies Campus. As the name implies, it is a theater which trains mostly to the students of the performing arts. A great place to go and watch folk dances and music. It could also be rented by institutions outside of the campus for shows and matinee. It's location makes it a great place to visit and to take after shows stroll through the gardens.

You hardly have time to examine the place itself when you're busy watching or acting in the production.

The venue is well suited for the purpose for which it was built. Four stars because the lock on the restroom door didn't work when I was last there.

Nice little place. I went to see "the quilt". It was a beautiful art displaying African centered history and slavery. The actors, the voices, the stiryline... Beautiful!!! It's my second or third time visiting and the art pieces before were also beautiful. Nice place to go to your burst of our cultural diversity.

State of the Art performing arts theatre equipped with great lighting and sound. Building also furnished with classrooms , administrative office and 'in-the-round' open theatre space. The joining building houses the dance studio. Has been the home of some of Jamaica's greatest talents, creativity and festivals. Events such as Tallawah, Dance Umbrella and award winning comedic play, Heist. Conveniently located on the UWI Mona, campus.

A small theatre on UWI campus that many clubs and classes use to display their creativity in the arts. As a theatre it isn't close to the best, but that doesn't matter cause the talents of the UWI students shine through it all

Be respectful to everyone regardless of race, class or gender. No one came to this planet with anything and none of us will leave with anything. Please staff at Phillip Sherlock learn to be gentle with people when enforcing your rules. You never know the predisposition of a person. Your harsh words or tone could lead to someone hurting themself or hurting you. I am surprised that people complain about the violence in the world when they are so combative.
I came to university to build strong relationships and to improve my life and the lives of others. People should be taught to question and the failure to question authority is the reason behind this broken society. There is no need for hostility.
