⭐ Wedding Hair & Make-Up Service – Avoid I booked a bespoke wedding hair and make-up service for myself and three bridesmaids on 10 May 2025. The agreed package was £750, including trials, with two artists booked so that everyone would be ready to leave by 12:30pm. I have been disappointed with the service we received, not only on my wedding morning but also the poor communication on the lead up to the wedding day. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing, particularly on what should have been one of the most important and memorable mornings of my life. The make-up artist arrived approximately 20 minutes late, despite the agreed 8:00am start, and I had to make contact because there had been no communication to say she was running late. I was also surprised to find that only one artist arrived, despite two having been booked. There were significant delays with the hair and make-up throughout the morning. Despite having contacted the business beforehand regarding my hair extensions, these had not been properly prepared for the day as planned. As the morning progressed, it became increasingly clear that we were running out of time. At around 11:40am, my own hair and make-up were still being completed, while my daughter and the younger bridesmaids were still waiting. I ended up having to finish part of my own hair and put my own veil in because of the time pressure. My daughter's make-up was rushed and there was foundation left around her hairline. My sister-in-law had to help finish styling her hair. The two younger bridesmaids were not properly completed, and their hair was only quickly tonged before we had to leave. We were supposed to leave at 12:30pm but eventually left at approximately 12:45pm, meaning we were around 20 minutes late for the wedding. The morning was extremely stressful and upsetting for myself and my family. There was no time to take the photographs or have the calm, special wedding morning that we had planned. I had also purchased a lipstick following my trial for an additional £20, but the shade supplied on the wedding day was incorrect. I paid £750 for what was presented as a bespoke, premium wedding service. Unfortunately, the service we received did not reflect what had been agreed or what I reasonably expected from a wedding package at this price. I raised my concerns and attempted to resolve the matter directly, but my complaint was not resolved, the company ignoring and blocking my emails and letters returned by Royal Mail as the address advertised on the company website does not exist, resulting in me having to pursue the matter through the courts. The company surprising did not show up for court. The court subsequently found in my favour, and compensation was awarded to me, however it remains to be paid. I have now lost more money trying to get the compensation I have been awarded. This review is based entirely on my personal experience. Sadly, I would not use this service again or recommend it for such an important occasion.

My experience with Orchid Blush was average. The artist did a decent job, but it was not outstanding. The makeup looked fine, but it lacked that wow factor. I expected a bit more considering the reputation. However, it was still satisfactory overall.
