We had a great time staying here at the MGM Grand. It was my first time in Vegas. The hotel was wonderful. We went and saw the Mike Tyson show and it was actually really good. They had a great night club in the hotel. Im from Georgia and it was cool to run into little Jon in the casino.
Hotel has been very nice. My stay has been great. The room has a bunch of space. It is quite a walk to the convention center. Only con: calling customer service and front desk experience- expect to be upsold and offered upgrades over and over.
Overpriced hotel. Nothing special at all. At $716.21 for 2 nights, our room didn't even come with a fridge. Also, they charged us $45 for what they lead us to believe was a complimentary 1L Smart Water Bottle, and $1 pack of Pringle chips and maybe a $1 pack of cookies that came with the room. Its a set up. Not worth it.
MGM Grand is a great property for a number of reasons. The rooms are large and well appointed, comfortable mattresses and blackout screens. Food, shows, lots of games and their pool complex is our favorite of all the hotels on the strip!
It was coo. However the towels was real dirty. And the bathroom was under par.
Fun. Busy. Good times. Rooms are nice. Busy hotel. Younger crowds.
I'm not much of a tourist but it's a nice place to visit but the real attraction is Ka it an Amazing show.
Food was so bad compare to Bellagio. I came here last year, it was really good. That's why I'm coming back. But it's so disappointed with the food here. Dec /11/2019.
Crazy massively packed, really lovely crowd. Cool to people watch, but kind of annoying for gambling since some of my favorite games were unavailable for large spans of time.
One of the most beautiful hotels in Las Vegas. MGM seduces guests with attentive service, distinctive variety of restaurants, and exquisite detailing. Guests discover an intimate ambiance complete with sunlit corridors, flowering atria, and sprawling anterior visible throughout the property. Relax all day. You will be delighted in the luxury of this hotel. It is a "must see"!
It's nice it's old it's pool party is great. The hotel is nice.. it's room reminded me of a grand parents house cozy... Stiff
Went to eat at the buffet. $40 a person was a little high. Salads were wilted most things were way over cooked. The price includes beer or wine. You had a choice of Bud or Coors light. The wine had 3 choices and I wouldn't serve it to someone I don't like. I told the waitress and she acted as if that was normal.
A very good buffet. Friendly people and they love to give you money. Ok, that may not be true but your in Vegas.
The room was nice but a lot of small things didnt work
Stayed in "Stay Well" floors. Wonderful spa like space. Lazy river was great. Sorry we didn't know to being our own tube...can't rent. Now own 2...oh well.
We had no issues and that's all you can ask for on a vacation.
I ve never been to a hotel that has such friendly staff! Seriously, every restaurant, bar and show we went to the staff were all so happy. They really love what they do. It s really big so bring some comfy shoes. We had an amazing night in the Skyline Terrace Suite and the views of the strip are incredible! Our bartenders for the night were Brian and Ray. Absolutely outstanding service and just pure gentleman serving ladies and gentlemen. Brian has been at the MGM for 25 years! We stayed 2 nights on the 19th floor with a long view of the strip and gorgeous sunsets. My only complaint was I had 2 showers with just warm water. I like a hot shower so that was annoying
Rooms are really dark. They seem dated. The rest of the casino is updated nicely.
We asked for hot water since the hotel did not provided us one of those standard coffee machine to heat up hot water, MGM wants to charge us $18 for 2 cups of hot water. No thank you, we are not going to pay $18 for hot water.
I stayed at the MGM to celebrate my 21st birthday, however my stay was during thanksgiving holiday. It was the best experience I ever had at any hotel. The guest service was outstanding, the food was amazing and the room was very comfortable. My only complaint is the tub kept clogging up . Overall I enjoyed it!
Mold in shower caulking, worn and stained room carpet, bed headboard leather peeling, wall paper peeling off the walls in multiple spots, and broken dresser. Motel 6 room at ritz Carlton pricing. Would recommend to stay elsewhere.
Everything was good. The only thing I didnt like was that the kids next door were smoking so much weed that the smell came to our room thru the connecting door.
The buffet is great with a wide variety. Some of the food was cold but as soon as I noticed the staff replaced it with fresh food. The floors are clean, the slot machines fun and interesting, and the free events at night are great!
Cuz of the attention of the of the servers and theres alot to do in that casino is better payouts on slots
Came to see the cirque de soleil show. I cannot speak on the facility beyond the ka theater, which is breathtaking.
Well kept up Place Gotta Love MGM Grand Money well spent they've spent Millions to give you the Wonderful Experience as well as so many Las Vegas Businesses.
Tapp best manager ever...Aubry takes care of her guests.
The MGM GRAND has always been luxurious and beautiful. This time we went to see the DAVID COPPERFIELD SHOW. My daughter worked for David, so it was great seeing him again. If you guys are in VEGAS, you must see this show. It is UNBELIEVABLE..
MGM is one of my favorite brand of hotel & casino's in Vegas! They have a lock on presentation, quality and customer service. I'm a veteran and they always are dong something for those who have served.
Rooms need renovating, but it s the best place on the strip for gaming
Overall hotel experience was good but there were a lot of negative aspects, too. Maybe my expectations were too high but when I reserve a tower spa suite I expect strip view and not the view to the backside of the hotel .. I got the experience that you get a better room when you book directly at the hotel instead of Expedia or similar.. Anyway, room was big and nice but a little too dark and without a fridge or coffee maker.. The river at the pool area was closed, I don't know why.. The spa was awesome and the Zen stone massage the best I ever had !!! 5 stars for the Spa, 3 for pool and room = 4 stars..
Too many people, everyone rude. Not a place I'll visit again.
Fun place to lose money great atmosphere good drinks
Nice place to stay. Its been yrs since we stayed in Vegas. The montreal sure beat walking the strip like we did in the *old days* ^wink^
The MGM Grand is a great place to stay. The West Wing King rooms have very comfortable beds and plenty of room. The Tower Spa Suites are worth the money If you want a more luxurious stay. The pool area is huge and a nice place to relax.
Pros: Nice rooms, great pools, good service. Cons: Long lines for everything, a loooong walk to get anywhere in the resort, and it's designed to separate you from as much as your money as possible as quickly as possible. Example: There are no water fountains to be found anywhere on the property, and they charge five bucks for a bottle of water. May be a great place if you have way too much money and don't know what to do with it.
A good option even for a non-traditional Vegas trip. Stayed at the MGM with my twelve-year-old and had a very family friendly stay. We made good use of the concierge, who was very helpful in providing advice, and enjoyed the food court, upscale restaurants, and especially the lazy river.
Stayed here during our time in Vegas. Overall a good experience! We got the incidental fee waived (from 300$ to 197$) and when asked they did let us upgrade our room for an extra 20$ a night. Our room was good, clean, cozy and the housekeeping people even arranged our personal toiletries nicely and in order on a tray which was a nice touch. We used the concierge service to buy Ka tickets and that went smoothly.
Arrived on Wednesday 8/26 an left on Sunday 8/30 an never had a hot shower or or a cold room, called customer service twice with no results, ended up leaving am staying somewhere different the last night when checking out from MGM I repeatyny concerns an they said they would refund hotel resort fees now the waiting begins an pray they actually do refund the fees. When thinking of MGM I wouldn't have ever thought those things, but after staying in have awhile new view of MGM
Had a very bad experience. The room assigned to me was not ready. It seems someone was using it before I enter. The TV was on, half empty bottle of beer was on the table next to bed, a half empty glass of water was on the TV table. This is not expected from brand like MGM. After calling help desk they assigned me another room and asked to use same room keys. Now the bigger problem.. the keys were not working when scanned in elevator and I spend my time in calling help desk and getting it fixed. Overall I wasted my evening time in all these, I ve to get down from 1 elevator and take another one to go to the new room and I was carrying my whole luggage with my family. Overall this was the worst experience ever. I ll not recommend this hotel.
This was a fun place. We enjoyed some video games, great pizza and gelato. We didn't do anything else but this part was great! 4 stars just for cleanliness and the Pac Man joystick wouldn't go down.
Love this place but they need to lessen the resort and parking fee's before they start losing business.
The place we stay when visiting, the MLife rewards is the best rewards program in Vegas, whether you stay here or any other MGM owned property.
First time staying at the MGM Grand and it was just wonderful. Clean rooms and great restaurant options.
A city within a city. The MGM staff went out of their way to make our stay not only fun, but memorable with their amazing customer service and friendliness. I would definitely return.
Biggest hotel in the US. Our traveling companions had their room broken into and many things stolen. Then because we needed to put insulin in the refrigerator they charged us $345 because we opened the mini fridge. Preposterous. They took it off but said next time we have to rent a fridge to store medicine. That's ridiculous.
I visit MGM with family members to register. Large casino and beautiful. On my way I spotted a very beautiful restaurant. 1 day maybe I will visit it.
Noisy, dirty, and hair extension under the bed. When reported someone just came up and took it away. Too grossed out to stay there another night, but desk clerk refused refund. Paid for two nights, slept there one. Flew home early. Waste of money. The casino is fine, buffet is good, hotel is something to be desired.
When I stay at the MGM Grand one of my favorite things to do is play top golf
I preference more of a High end Casino. This one is OK.
MGM Grand is a globally renowned hotel property and a landmark place for various sports contests events and of course the casinos . We had a fantastic two day stay there and it was a spell bounding experience with activities all around and the price was really very reasonable . The view from the room was breathtaking with the scores of famous las Vegas building and names all before us. It's really worth it to stay here and feel the buzz and fun around MGM and Las Vegas.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your outstanding hotel casino! Beautiful; clean; renovated; wonderful casual and elegant dining options. A variety of shows are right in the hotel theatres.
Huge theater for Ka and other great photo opportunities.
The MGM is great, Casino is cool, prices were good, the show we watched (Ka) was great! However the room was not that awesome, a light in the room wasn't working and we had to walk through a long Hall to get to the elevator then back through another hall to get to our room.
Was upgraded to penthouse suite which was very beautiful with a gorgeous view!
When we checked out of our room we noticed our bill was much higher than we expected. Upon closer examination, they charged us $1,000 smoking fee when we didn t smoke. They also charged us $45 for Grey Goose and $15 for M&M s we didn t drink or eat. We had multiple very expensive rooms and all 10 of us gambled the whole trip, bringing the MGM Grand a lot of income. The dealers were constantly pressuring us to bet more and telling us we were not choosing the best odds even when we were playing the book. We will be reporting them to the BBB and never coming back. We advise the same for you if you want to enjoy yourself in Vegas.
David Copperfield magic show is always one of the favor for kids. It is above average for adult as well.
Amazing hotel and a lot of fun activities to do and fun places to go
It's a fun time! Keep an eye out for the old games. They usually attract a crowd and are super fun!
Dark closed in room, bad view, thin door to the toilet with large air gaps. Hope you're fine with no privacy on the toilet.
Staff was amazing, unfortunately We were underwhelmed by our room. Didn t make us feel valued by the poor attempt or lack there of, for repairs.
All the hotels are different in there own way which is great but was in and out so just saw some stores. Went to meet someone
Casino was very nice a fun place. The Park theater is excellent to see a show
They have very friendly and helpful staff. They also have plenty of staff. This seems to be a great place to have conventions. It's a mamoth of a complex and has plenty if parking. They have a few nice shops and restaurants. They have one of the monorail stops at their building.
This hotel is huge. We still haven't explored everything. Nice live environment and good mood and vibe.
I have never stayed at the hotel here, but have gambled here several times as well as having been to see dave chapelle at their arena. The gaming tables usually start at a $10 minimum in off peak times. The dealers here are on par with other caesars properties, if not slightly higher. Many of them are pretty indiferent and the gaming atmosphere here isn t great, apart from the fact that its not easy to get a drink. Overall this isn t a terrible place, but I see no reason to come here over other nicer properties which have the same minimums and other things such as food are of simmilar pricing.
Lost 40.00 but feel that many people lost far more than me. It was fun playing the slots.
MGM Grand is a great hotel. Plenty of food options, and access to the monorail. Rooms are clean and toiletries are kept stocked. The walk from the parking garage is looong, so be prepared. It is worthwhile to get the mlife mastercard for free parking.
I took my family to Vegas on Thanksgiving 2019 and had a very nice stay at MGM Signature with a balcony We had a view of strip from our PH suite Since we brought Thanksgiving dinner with us we needed and had a full kitchen to prep meal Our first family Thanksgiving in Vegas considering making this a tradition Towers are safe and secure and service ranks up with 5 star
Hotel was beautiful. Food was great. Location was good. Only draw back was the pool area did not offer enough umbrellas and when we voiced a complaint at the main desk we were referred back to pool supervisor who said they could do nothing about it. Poor handling of guests. 5 star for room. 1 star for pool area with used towels left all over the place.
It's a mega hotel to be prepared for crowds. Everywhere. There are a number of towers, some of which are quite a walk from the front desk. Valet times can also be very long given the throngs and throngs of people. You will pay a resort fee and a valet fee. Also, if you book a spa appointment you will get charged 20% 'for your convenience' which is not a tip. Think of it like Disney - very crowded, lots of walking, and they will nickle and dime you to death. You can get a discount on the hotel if you sign up for their free slot club M Life.
Bad picture I'll try and get a better one. Hallways remind me of a horror movie. Seriously, if you're a disabled person, make sure to ask for a room close to the elevators as the halls are very long. Elevators are in their own hallway so it dampens noise, but the walk from our room, which was half way done the hall, was difficult for my wife.
This hotel is huge...everything you need here but it is also in a great location to a lot of other eateries....direct access to the strip from hotel
I love the comfortable rooms and relaxing pool areas.
The room was a king room, wasn't that big but expected for the price, but the layout is what made the size inconvenient. And one really weird thing about the room is that the bathroom toilet door is glass (not see through though) but it doesn't have any type of latch, lock, handle, or anything and it just doesn't shut 100% even if it shut it just opens because it has no latching mechanism. Seems like a room for a person who is there alone. Also the room was literally 1000ft from the elevator. The food offered in the hotel wasn't great, we obviously didn't try all of it but what we did try was way overpriced and mediocre. The hotel staff was nice and the rooms were clean as far as the bed area goes but the shower and sink were a little dirty, the shower flooring should be tile but it's broken white epoxy or something but it was ugly. The shower pressure was perfect and hot. The sink area is small. The closet was nice. The tv was good. The elevator was pretty confusing at first but makes sense how they have it set up for security. Hakkasan is a good club in the hotel.
s Some of the craziest things I've ever seen. Crowds of humans rushing to see MGM shows, all flowing in one direction. Makes me love Alaska
MGM was, as usual, a grand experience. Nice cool comfortable clean room. Buffet had a ton of varieties of very tasty food. Overall our Vegas experience was great. Highly recommend MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.
The machines i play start at .25 so they took my money pretty quick. Didnt see any jackpot winners. Thats not good lol....i would say go somewhere off the strip they will pay more.... I play 4 card keno and could barely get 3 out of 6 for 12 credits.( think i got it once)
I was pleasantly surprised with the layout of this casino. The parking area was abit complicated to get to and from the casino area. You had to walk a great distance and the take an escalator and work some! Ugh. Then upon entering there weren't too much excitement going on that was worth staying for. The night life was really low key on a Saturday, which was surprising. Deco was ok but deserves a much need upgrade. The art fixtures were beautiful. I look forward to visiting again to see what postive changes they will add.
My wife and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was a really nice hotel with tons of stuff to do inside. It was also a great location on the strip. The only drawbacks were my room wasn't ready at 3 o'clock like it was guaranteed to be and the food was nearly twice as much as it should have been at all the restaurants and eateries. There was also a $150 minimum to sit at a table in the Level Up bar area and watch football games on Sunday which I felt was ridiculous considering I was required to pay a resort fee for use of the hotel's amenities. Needless to say I found somewhere else to watch the game. That said I would probably stay at MGM again because it was very nice and the casino paid as well as any of the others that we tried on the strip or in old Vegas.
Great hotel and casino. Service and amenities are great
