Great location and it looks like they have awesome food and such. I had walked by a few times and finally decided to stop in on 3/12 at 3pm. The lady working the sweets/bread counter was so rude I left without buying anything. I simply asked her if the flourless cookies had any carb info. She rudely said "no idea" and rolled her eyes. This place has the best deli food around! My favorite is the Pulled Pork sandwich
The wait was worth the good old fashion NY Ruben. The tuna melt was also excellent. It s one of the oldest sandwiches shop in Malibu. No thrills but good eats.
I ve been coming here for fifteen years. It had been awhile and decided to stop by and pick up sandwiches today. The woman who now runs this place is so mean and rude that it actually prompted me to write this review. The sandwiches and the men who make them are very nice. No complaints there. The food is always good. This lady made me feel like dirt within seconds of speaking to her. In looking at reviews on Yelp, I see that I m not alone. Lady, if you re reading this, please be nicer or you ll lose lifelong customers like me.
When ever I can, I love to swing by to this place and buy food. Basically all the food I had tried is delicious. One of my favorites is the salmon sandwich. Also love their coffee. Definitely a five star
Triple Turkey no lettuce on a french baguette with Torres cured cheese chips. Enjoy in a cool peaceful location. I did. And finish it off with a Pecan desert. Then complete the experience with a Black & Mild wood tip, for that wonderful feeling and aroma. Stay Humble my friends.
Hello, my first experience was awesome. The food is delicious and atmosphere is welcoming. I think the people who are being rude are the ones who don t wear a mask inside and act above the employees. Highly recommend this cute place. Thank you
Excellent sandwiches & desserts. Expect to wait in line to order. Big selection though. An absolute "must try" place. Patio seating and completely casual.
As a long time resident of Malibu, I wish I could recommend this local business but if you re a tourist looking to grab a sandwich I would avoid this place like the Titanic with a second chance.
Both times I was there recently neither the owner or his staff wear masks or gloves nor do they require the customers to either. If that s not gross enough for you then feel free to cozy up to the counter so they can yell at you while you pay $15 for a ham sandwich.
