We were lucky and visited at a time when the lines weren't too long! It was cool to visit a historic place and one that has been in many films. The ice cream was great and they had tons of flavors. I had the German Chocolate Cake flavor which was different and very good! While you're standing in line, they even give you ice water while you wait.

I worship ice cream. I know, seems like some therapy may be required here, but I would suggest, that you really just don't understand. Having said that Leopold's is very good, yet the ice cream didn't seem like anything special to me. Now I didn't say it wasn't good - it was. It just wasn't knock your socks off, where have you been all my life, can I have your phone number good! I think the line out the door comes from the cool soda fountain decor, dress like a 1950's soda jerk vibe thing going on. It's all very nice and the ice cream is good. I just won't be dreaming of you tonight!

I stopped by this world famous ice cream shop 2 weeks ago, while I was visiting the Savannah community. I stopped by on a Friday around noontime, and I didn't have no wait on this visit. Because of their location on a main street in town, parking can he challenging. There is some street and parking garage nearby. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. I decided get a scoop of their mint chocolate chip, and it was very smooth and tasty. I kinda of felt this place is very touristic and kinda expensive for ice cream. I will admit that the quality of the ice cream is rich and tasted excellent. But I'll let you know in advance that you're going spend some money for their ice cream $$$. I probably will return for another visit and tried them again. I would highly recommend them to friends and family members.

Yummy flavors (we tried the lemon, rum bisque, and honey almond cream - the honey almond was my fave, my husband loves the lemon). The place was packed but the servers all friendly. Asha was especially kind and kept offering us (and our dog) water, then she brought our pup some dog-friendly ice cream. Overall pleasant experience.

Leopold s is famous for homemade ice cream, long lines and amazing customer service. People will line up for blocks, in the rain or 100 degree heat. It s insane to me but you ll see the Leopold s staff passing out cups of water and holding umbrellas. That s one of the many reasons I love Leopold s. They ve also added vegan options to their menu so everyone can enjoy something sweet.

Never waited in a line for an Ice cream. They have a real good varieties and you can try them before choosing one. There special Savannah socialite was good. There was a waiter serving water to the people standing in line and answering their questions. He looked so tired but was answering all the questions patiently. Overall, the Ice cream was good.

A lot of hype for the wait. The ice cream style was lighter and fluffier than my particular taste, and the flavors were not that unique. I had the rum bisque which should have had a very strong rum flavor with bits of macaroons as accents. The primary flavor I got was vanilla... Price was ok, but the 45 minute wait was not worth it...
