Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts

This place is beautiful and they have great, quality, shows. Highly recommended, particularly for those coming in from out of town.

We have seen two KC ballet shows here and both were phenomenal.

KC Symphony at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts is the way symphony eas meant to be heard. Areal magical experience.

We went and saw The Squirrel Nut Zippers and they were awesome! The Kauffman center was very nice. Not a bad seat in the place.

Beautiful facility. Saw the orchestra for a Christmas concert and the sound that the concert hall deliveries is superb. Even the flutes can be heard clearly without mics in every part of the theater.

Awesome time at The Music of Michael Jackson. The concert was amazing. Ushers are always helpful. Small plates at the restaurant were so good and fast. Just a great time!

Easy parking with the garage leading straight into the building. The exterior of the building exhibits wonderful engineering along with the interior main hall.

The building is stunningly beautiful, both unside and out. Definitely an architectural gem in the city. I went to a performance last night and had a great time. The staff is very polite and helpful and the seats are roomy/comfy. They need to improve the parking situation, however, as there's only 1 way in and out of the garage, which creates a traffic bottleneck before and after performances. It took over 20 minutes to leave the garage yesterday, which is ridiculous. Other than that, i love everything else about this place.

My husband and I just love the Kauffman Center. It is set up to move around easily. It is also beautiful in side and out. The show was great!

Kansas City is fortunate to have this world class performing arts center - it's truly magnificent. I've seen ballet (Nutcracker during the holidays is SUPERB), opera, and popular live music and they're all great here. What a fantastic anchor and key city asset for our city. Something to truly be proud of.

Best acoustics and performances in kc, probably. At least on the orchestra/classical of things.

We went to the free symphony performance and participated in the happy hour beforehand - great date night or girls night, and I'll definitely be going back!

Fall tasting at Kauffman Center Dining Experience. Amazing Food

This place blows me away every time that we come. I have been here 3 times now and just recently on both sides. They have one side for the Symphony and is beautifully made with mostly wood all around. Great acoustics. The main hall for performances is very comfortable and there is not a bad seat in the house that I can tell. We sat in the Mezzanine and thought the seats were great. There is a parking garage on the south side that connects directly into the building.

Both Helzberh Hall and Muriel Kauffman Theater have wonderful acoustics and are very inviting places to attend a performance.

Such an amazing venue for the performing arts. Not only is the building beautiful, it's functional and there's staff everywhere to help you find your way. The acoustics is top notch. We saw the Kansas City Ballet and the Kansas City Symphony perform The Nutcracker. Very nice performance!

Wonderful acoustics. We have season tickets to the symphony. The performances are always thrilling. We also thoroughly enjoy watching David Stern conduct.

A little difficult to get around, and muffled acoustics in at least one auditorium

This place is amazing. The beautiful architecture doesn't go unnoticed. The parking garage gives you direct access so weather won't interfere with you going. The walking distance is reasonable and so is the parking fee.

Amazing and beautiful. A must for anyone living in or visiting Kansas City.

The building and the facilities are perfect for sound. And also worth seeing for the fabulous architecture. However it's hit or miss on the performances. Some are very good, and some, not so much.
