Me and my sister went there for a year and stopped bc she was getting poor treatment. And we both got held back

Ivy preparatory might have a 4 out 5 star rating but there s ice on burgers the school can t afford to get a cafeteria and a gym separately the school can never keep a teacher students are always stressed this school only promotes lack of self esteem and stress teachers don t like to teach so they try to make students do a project that s worth 60% of their grade in 2 weeks I personally have had multiple mental breakdowns based on this topic I would never even send my worst enemy here and I feel sorry for the little girls who have to stay in that school until eighth grade

This school is amazing. I don't have a favorite teacher because all of them are amazing. They can be mean sometimes but still amazing. I'm not there to have friends I'm there to get my education and I am getting one. Commendable job!!!

I went here for 2 years 4 and 5 it was like a living hell but sometimes it was fun cuz they gave us bags of takis

I go to the school and it is a very enjoyable experience. The staff / teachers ... AMAZING . The basketball team is EPIC also the environment

Ivy Prep is not a good school. They have rules that are unfair for children, they will call you for every little thing your child does, and according to my child the make learning hard with ways they made up so when she comes home with home work we cant look up ways to help her.

One they eat your food at this school and the bad lunch do not get me started

The lunch that the kids eat is TRASH! Whomever they re contracted with gets emails and pictures showing the foods served and they ignore the emails! The teachers are underpaid and some come just for a check! You ll be asked to donate every single time you visit the school! No thanks! Withdrawing my girls!

This school is okay. I been going to that school all my life but one thing I gotta say is it wasn t the same every since 5th grade it started to change. We use to have valentine parties after school and etc. but now we just don t do nun of that

this school is the worst school ever. They have kids doing everything in the bathrooms. teachers are petty and almost all old teachers left the school. You don't get fair treatment as a student. They push homosexuality.

This is my daughter's first year here. She loves it and so do I. It is my hope that this school will continue to excel in providing the best learning environment and education for my child.

Great learning environment for girls to build a bond. Have a daughter in elementary and a daughter that just finished 8th grade. The school year was great for us

I really think the issues with this is school is with in the administration. I attended the 2019-2020 new orientation a few days ago and it is apparent that their focus is more on little things that don't really matter and not academics.

For example, they recently changed the schools crest (symbol) over the summer and because the uniforms stores don't yet have the uniforms, parents must get each uniform EMBROIDERED at the parents expense.
-They wear different uniforms different days of the week and if you don't adhere to this, your child will receive a level 1 infraction and a uniform violation.
- You have to pay for a car window number when you come to get your child and you have to also pay if you want your child to "dress down" on a Friday, this can also bring forth a level one infraction if your child forgets the money.
-As they discussed Appropriate attire, the principle of the middle school walked around in 4 inch, bright red patent leather pumps. I was shocked because she was discussing proper attire to impressionable girls.

- I was so exhausted form all the silly rules that they have, I left feeling overwhelmed

There were many things that I took issue with but the thing that got me upset was when I witnessed the principal of the elementary school take the microphone from the a speaker (the young lady that takes enrollment documents) because she wasn't speaking loud enough and put it back in her face. She is a bit soft spoken but they could have just told her to speak up. It just seemed incredibly rude and it shows that they don't have respect for one another, specifically the lower level employees. They also have many new teachers and support staff, which tells me that turn over is high and they cant keep quality talent.

Success starts from the head down and the decisions and crazy rules invoked by this school was simply ridiculous.
No discussion on how they grade, the teachers, strategies... nothing! Everything discussed was on their petty rules.

Final Thought:
The school is kept clean and in great condition and the services offered seemed to be good ie. after school, ymca affiliations... They have a good thing going at this school but that have to focus on whats important.

They got rid of the boys because of "test grades" which actually was they didn't have enough money for them. And why did you have to pay to wear sprite shirts that was dumb

I went to Ivy prep for a total of 8 school years.The first 3-4 years were amazing until the uniform became more strict and they forced me to be a way that I didn t feel comfortable in.The school teacher were amazing to me,honestly it was just the way they put things and the principal

I went to ivy prep through 2015-2016 !I hated ivy prep in six grade! There was mold, nail clippings, hairs in the food it was so nasty! Also, my least favorite teacher was Ms. Smith because she didn't know what she was doing and her room smelled horrible! The gym is in the cafeteria which is really stupid! The school is really poor so don't go to ivy!!!!

I love this school. My girls are thriving with good discipline & consistent learning. I love it so far, the interior designer is off the charts great.

Poor leadership. This school allows bullying. My daughter went here for a semester and was bullied daily. When we spoke with the principle she suggested my daughter learn to fight and defend herself. My daughter was there to get an education, not fight. It's sad that some of the staff see kids being mistreated and not interfere. There should be some kind of mediation for these girls to be able to talk with someone to found out why they are being bullied. Poor administrations and teachers. Don't send your daughter here unless she know how to fight.
