Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo Reviews

Pictures and written articles about The Riverwalk are what drew me to Pueblo. Big disappointment. Few good places to eat. A wee bit of snow and everything shuts down. And don't get me started with the homeless and other vagrants. At least one business a month is vandalized, downtown is a ghost town usually and the town built another parking garage? Pueblo city council needs to take another look at priorities for downtown. Overpriced, empty apartments and store fronts. Let's fix this.

So lovely! Enjoyed winding around the shops and historic buildings. Clean and peaceful.

Really nice antique home that presents just as the family still lived there. We were there almost two hours and spend the whole time hearing about the house.Our docent was very nice and answered a ton of questions She really loves the house. Be sure to ask about the huge Porch I messed up and somehow forgot.Its huge its beautiful But then the whole house is a work of art

It is a nice place to take a stroll. Quiet and relaxing. Not as many restaurant choices as I thought there would be. If you have been to the San Antonio Riverwalk do not expect it to that level. Come with a different mind. It is still nice. The Medal of Honor Plaza is a great memorial for Medal of Honor recipients from Pueblo.

I always enjoy a good walk around the river walk! I moved to Florida earlier this year, but came back to help my mother for a few weeks while she recovers from a mild heart attack. We came here to help get her some exercise and work back up in strength. She really loves coming and walking here

This place is a gem hidden in Pueblo. They keep it clean, security patrols and keeps it safe. The restaurants along the walk have good food (have been to most). It is a nice place for a walk with the family and your dog. During the summer they have paddle boats to rent or take a gondola type of boat ride.

Who would have guessed Pueblo had such a hidden gem. It instantly reminded me of the Riverwalk in San Antonio. My only complaint is that it was a bit small and not quite as vibrant, but that could be a lingering effect of Covid or the stormy weather.
Bottom line: If you are driving on I-25, get off the freeway, walk around and have dinner. It will be well worth your time. If you have longer, spend the night!

Such a beautiful amenity!! We enjoyed our time walking the paths and playing in the splash pad. Only wished there had been a bathroom somewhere - even a porta potta. Finally walked to the police station to find a public restroom.
