Harrison Senior Living was formerly a hospital, so it is a large building with wide corridors, roomy and numerous elevators, lots of gathering spaces and quite a variety of rooms to accommodate residential needs. My experience has been that the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the nursing staff are well-trained, and the facility is constantly receiving updates and improvements.

The location is not the best. It is close to steelworks and the part of town in which Harrison Senior Living is situated is a bit run down. Because there is only a small garden and nowhere to really walk to, this is not the place for seniors who like to be outside; however, this is somewhat mitigated by regular van trips to local places such as gardens, shops and restaurants.

Harrison Senior Living is suitable for seniors who need assisted living, since there is a 24-hour nursing staff. It is affordable for a senior who is living on only a state pension.
