Best part about Glen's Garden Market is the $4.00 beer selection. Come in anytime before they close -- at 10 PM, I believe -- and hook yourself up with a great craft beer. Moving past the beer, we can talk about the cafe -- lots of pleasant selections here. People rave about the half-chicken combo, but I could take it or leave it. Now we're on to the groceries. I can't afford shopping here on a regular basis, but I do rely on Glen's for the occasional host gift when going to a party. Close to the house, full of snazzy gifts. Service is hip and friendly.

They have some great food for a quick bite in store as well as a good local draft list that is always $4. I also enjoy that all of their products are within the watershed! This year I am starting the CSA and have enjoyed the selection thus far. I also have a friend in the growler club that really enjoys it as well! Definitely recommended

My lovely daughter took me to this quaint market on my visit from Minnesota. It had everything in it you would find in a food coop packed into a rustic space. The deli food options were great and I loved the rest of the store from unique fresh items to local frozen delights.

The hidden gem of Dupont. I used to live across the street from this place so I'm biased. They say all the produce and groceries are in some part watered by the Chesapeake watershed, but there are definitely some items that just normal brands. Although this place is expensive for groceries, the beer is cheap and a great selection. The quality of everything is amazing. Be wary of how busy it is at happy hour, but their beers are $5 for a local craft all the time, so it doesn't even make sense to go at that time! Glen's is best at 8 PM on a Thursday night drinking beer on their outside patio when you don't have to work the next day.

First off -- it's $4 beers every day, every beer, no matter what. That cannot be stressed enough. They also recently expanded their outdoor patio (and allow dogs). I wouldn't do my day to day grocery shopping here, but this is where to get growler fills, vegetables, and premade meals/sandwiches in the back of the store. A great place to support/eat local!

I wouldn't ever go here again. It took 22 minutes to get my food. I asked the lady and she said that's about how long it usually takes. I don't know about you but I don't have 22 minutes to sit and wait for very mediocre food on my 30 minute lunch break. Would not recommend.

I wish so badly I lived in the building above Glen's because I'd be in there everyday. I don't know if it was the smell, the delightful homey feel, or the carefully curated selection of novelty foods, but when I walked in, I was a little overwhelmed by feelings of bliss. Plus, they also have a coffee bar, wine and beer bar, deli, and a large patio I can't wait to visit this summer.

LOVE the local shopping concept and LOVE bringing my COMPOST here (frozen in a paper baggie)! I really want to love this place more but there are two huge issues for me. On the weekends, the selection of produce has been sub-average. Many items were moldy, too dry, or old. Second, I bought the Cherry Glen marinated goat cheese balls twice. The first time, they were fantastic! The second time, the goat cheese was over-ripe and the flavor was way too sharp and inedible. I tried saving them in several creative recipes. They were ultimately inedible and I tolerated as much as I could eat, but threw away a lot of this expensive ($15) product!! Today I saw the last two jars on sale and they looked a bit pink, implying they are probably over ripe!

Excellent high-quality, fresh, healthy, quick-service food! Gluten free (gf), vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked, and they offer gluten free bread that is very tasty (a rarity)! They have grab-and-go, made-to-order deli (hot/cold), a mini organic grocery store and then a cafe with beer, cider, coffee and some tea. Plenty of comfortable seating and is suitable for laptop use!

There were so many fresh food options. the grocery part of the store was loaded with vegan, glutenfree, organic things and more. i got the $10 4 salads deal and it was delicious. I got the soba noodle, the farro, the kale salad, and the mushroom salad. I would definitwlt recommend to anyone who enjoys a whole foods diet

Love the people who work here. They are all always friendly to everyone. I've heard their food is great but I've never tried it. There selection is decent but do watch the pricing. Some items can get a bit pricy in comparison to other local stores that offer the same thing.

These places, and more importantly this business model is awesome. Buy your freshly made food, grab a reasonably priced beverage and sit. It's a mini more appealing, Whole Foods where you can shop unique items and then hang out. This place is understandabley very popular. Great concept for the neighborhood. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Great indoor market with locally sourced food and drinks. They fill growlers too! Only downside is that there's not quite enough shade for their outdoor seating. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could though, because it's really only a minor detraction from an otherwise awesome business.
