The cupcake was really good and the service was pretty fast.

The cupcakes here are not nearly as good as they are hyped up to be. Another rlarge issue I had was the ordering system. After getting my order taken, I was stuffed shoulder to shoulder with other patient customers. I feel like they need to improve how people can get in and out of their store to better improve the flow of the store.

Line moved quickly and cupcakes were good. Lots of choices bit one can only eat so many cupcakes

Staff not very friendly. Asked for a bag and she reluctantly placed it on counter without placing items into bag and didn't say a word. Just poor customer service.

Expect around half an hour queuing, but it's definitely worth the wait. Friendly staff, strategic location, and of course, great cupcakes flavour selection. Try their salted caramel, classic red velvet, and peanut butter cupcakes.

The delay in the pick up orders was unacceptable. I had an order promised at 12pm but it was ready 30 minutes later. Not only did they fail to tell the long line of customers waiting outside what the situation was (shortage in staff) but they also were unapologetic and rude to any customer that came in to inquire about their orders. Maybe they should stop accepting orders at a particular time slot if they can not commit to it?

It was delicious, but I only stood in line for the experience. The employees were incredibly rude to everyone in line and had very little patience. Cupcakes were really good though

After waiting in line for almost an hour we finally got to taste some of these delicious cup cakes. While they are very delicious, the price is a little high...

Best of the best hands down. Super tasty, beautiful, incredible cupcakes. I walk in and always get way too many. These are definitely some of the best around. Staff is also always really sweet.

Ahh, a delicious salted caramel cupcake from here can make anyone's day! Come during off times, as the line can be crazy long and frustrating.

The cupcakes are really good (fluffy and tasteful in every bite), but for the wait (there's usually a LONG line that extends all the way outside of the tiny store), it's quite overrated. Although the service is quick and efficient, a visit once is enough. My favorite was the red velvet cupcake -- simply hard to beat, a choice you can't go wrong with.

Overpriced too dry tasting cup cakes, over rated and not worth the queue or the price. The vanilla cupcake only had plain Philadelphia cream as their 'icing'. Very random place and nowhere as good as Baked and Wired! Avoid.

One of the nicest cupcakes out there. Not only do you have a nice selection which includes monthly and weekly specials, but there is a "secret" cupcake which each shop gives out free if you ask for it by name (follow them on social media to know more). The designs vary depending on season and occasions which never fail to keep customers coming to see what's new. Expect a line, but with it!

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!

I just got off the phone with perhaps the most customer-service LACKING person I've ever encountered.

I am just trying to enjoy simple, affordable luxuries during this pandemic, via ordering their cupcakes in UberEats, however they have been listed as 'Unavailable' for nearly TWO WEEKS. I called last week, and a different person answered the phone to tell me that they forgot to turn it on . . . that's odd, but it came back online in the app within 5 minutes of our conversation.

Today, I noticed the same situation, figuring they have, once again, decided making money during a pandemic is not important, I called to inquire about the status of deliveries through the UberEats app. The woman that answered was extremely condescending, talking to me as though I were an idiot or using the app incorrectly, and suggesting I order through their website directly. I told her that the $20 delivery fee you charge is not something I can afford right now, as Uber does not charge so much, and she tells me "Well we have to pay our delivery drivers" as if I didn't already know what the fee was for.

She also told me that their phone lines are for EMERGENCIES ONLY and to email a problem like this next time.

Will there be a next time? I don't think so, because of this horrid service from this rude woman.

You would think they would want to take care of people and speak gently during a time like this, but I guess since they have a mediocre tv show, they think they can treat people however they wish, and NOT service them.

Hope fully you are one of the businesses that go under after all this is over.

I received 2 dozen assorted cupcakes as a gift for my Bridal Shower from my Aunts who could not make it and at first I had no idea what it was. The boxes are so pretty and sturdy and I opened them up and they are honesty the most beautiful cupcakes I ve ever seen! I am NOT a cake or cupcake person at all but I tried one and I fell in love. These are so delicious! I usually hate cupcakes and scrape off frosting because it s too sweet or stains my mouth but these are like heaven!!! I am obsessed! Xoxo

Designer cupcakes that actually taste good! So popular it s a must visit when in DC. I love the variety of flavors, from classics such as the birthday cake and red velvet, to monthly specials such as s mores, lavender early grey, and pumpkin cheesecake. I ve never had a flavor here I didn t like! The coffee is OK, but definitely better to be had across the street at Peet s. It s usually busy with a line out the door and little seating inside, but worth the wait!

Where there is a smoke there is a fire, so, where there is a line there must be something special. This review is based on my personal experience and feedback from friends. The decoration is top notch but the cupcakes themselves are not special. I don t know what the hype is about but you should definitely give it a go.

The cupcakes are fantastic but their online order and pick up is really messed up. They always fulfill their pickups time an hour or more past the time you schedule pick up. And you have to wait in a huge line to then pop you head in and check on your order, which adds to the time you have to wait PAST your ordered pick up time. They need a system that texts you when your order is ready and then you text them back when you are outside, and they have a runner that then brings them out. There were people ahead of us in line that were literally ordering their cupcakes, when we were waiting to pick ours up that we ordered over an hour ago. They just need a better system for ordering and pick up.

Don't listen to the "local guides" they are all bought out by stores. The lines wind around the block and are rarely in the store. Over an hour of wait and the cupcakes taste like any normal cupcake. They are pretty good but overpriced.

In town visiting family and we decided to stop here for a late afternoon dessert. The cupcakes in this location are phenomenal and heavenly! We ordered a total of 6 cupcakes - Peanut Butter Fudge, Lemon Blossom, Vegan Apple Cinnamon, Baby More

Heard all the rave about this place but didn't realize they only have one vegan options daily, which of course isn't really their fault- it's not a vegan establishment. However the vegan carrot cupcake was really too sweet (mostly the frosting) so I was disappointed.

These cupcakes are incredible. I d recommend trying the cheesecake ones

I'm not a cupcake person. This place changed me! Coconut chocolate cupcake was delicious! But it comes with a hefty price. A half dozen will cost you around 19 dollars.

If you visit DC, you should stop by and get some cupcakes! They have one of the best cupcakes in town. Yes, the place is crowded but the line goes fast and the service is always on point.

Georgetown Cupcake is a famous eatery. The service was good and even though the choices were a bit overwhelming, the cupcakes were yummy! The cupcakes are bit pricey, but worth it to say you visited the place made famous Reality tv!

Mouthwatering, moist, dense and surprisingly light deliciousness! The cupcakes are WORTH THE WAIT - how ever long the line is!!! If your going to wait outside in 33 degree weather don t leave with less than a dozen! Caramel Apple, Strawberry, Vanilla Birthday, Double Milk Chocolate and Pumpkin Cheesecake have tasted spectacular! Just praying when I purchase their mix from William Sonoma they will taste just as good, fingers crossed!

For a non cupcake lover, try this one. For cupcakes lover, must try this one as well. For me, their cupcakes are amazing. It was so moist, not too sweet, flavorful, and yet the price was decent. No wonder people from afar come to try this beautiful sweet delight. Not too worried for the long line, because they have a good system and they work efficiently. My favorite was peanut butter, but the seasonal flavor was also memorable.

I order cupcakes to be delivered for my birthday, and they were never delivered so I drove to the physical location. The employee then called the driver who stated he followed someone into the building and left them on a table. The employee was rude and never apologized for the inconvenience and while preparing our cupcakes, slammed the box on the counter upset. While on the call-on my personal cell phone she walked away from us with my personal property. I believe this is extremely unprofessional especially since we are paying customers. I understand that she may have been stressed but I do not believe that this was proper protocol on the driver s end or the employee s end.

Delicious delicious delicious!!! Unbelievable selection of cupcakes. The seasonal pumpkin spice cupcake was absolutely perfect! Not too spicey not too sweet. They have so many flavors that more than one is sure to please! They seem to always have a line outside the door but it moves along quickly. 5 STAR!

Love it but the line is so long! We waited for probably 45 minutes in the heat with kids. Once we got the cupcakes there was no seating so we ate out on the street. The cupcakes were delicious it just wasn't an easy or enjoyable experience getting them.

Cupcakes overrated...dry with icing that sometimes seems too sweet. TV promoted this place and the owners are nice...but the cupcakes do not live up to the hype. Tourists seem to line up....not so much the locals who know better.

Terrible customer service and over rated product. Placed advanced order for birthday party. Company did not answer the phone for three days, answer emails ever or respond to repeated attempts to confirm delivery. Delivery did not arrive in their delivery time window and ruined the party. This is the second time in a row this has happened. Spend your money elsewhere. They are not interested in customer service.

Sad!!! I am 9months pregnant and today i wanted to try their cupcakes and drive from Arlington to Georgetown. It was so hardly to park around there and finally after 6 7round found park spot and get into storw with BIG smile. But stuffs said "It's only online order" so i walk back and stand street try to order online. It's not working so i asked again "It's not working. They said you have to choose uber eats only" wooow standing front of store and choose UBER EATS??? So sad they never even cared big tummy and just ignored at all

The line is crazyyyyy but it moves super quick, so it s all good. The cupcakes are delicious, defenitely a dent in your pocket for something devoured so quick (it was good, i ate it so fast). I came from out of town so I wanted to try it out but this is defenitely something you hardly would ever retur back to. It s cute and trendy, that s why bare people go here but in reality you re wasting time!! (a lot of it cuz of the line) and money by going here. One cupcake costs $3.50 whereas 6 cupcakes run for $19. It s mothing special, really you can probably get the same thing with a lesser wait time down at Sprinkles. It is overrated. And another complaint I did have was that there was zero customer service, the staff there was not friendly at all, no smiles, no pleasantries. Additionally, we had two separate orders and we made sure to pick out which flavours we wanted at the cash but when it came to packing, all our attention was diverted and we didn t notice the girl packing and despite us picking 6 DIFFERENT FLAVOURS for one order, she screwed it ip and have us two of one. It was really a bummer cuz we were forced to eat the same flavour and noticed her mistake when we reached home all the way in McLean. This rating only reflects for the taste of the goods sold, but in terms of staff behaviour and attention....it s lacking. You d think that a such a popular cafe would have friendly and more attentive staff, but not the case here. It s just for a quick order and go cuz there s definitely zero friendly vibes here.

Always worth the wait...the icing is out of this world...

I wanted to thank Georgetown Cupcake for the order of cupcakes we had placed with them for our team. It was our organization's 8 year anniversary and they did a fantastic job. They took our fondant design and even though the first set of cupcakes came without the design we had sent, they re-shipped a complete new order to ensure that we had the right celebration to commemorate the occasion! You guys are not only great at what you do, you uphold a strong code of ethics and we appreciate you!

I ordered cupcakes for delivery to my mother (as a late Mother's Day gift) on Sunday and they were delivered today. My mother stated that they came this morning and they were nicely packed in separate containers in a box along with ice packs and a cooling bag. This is her first time eating a cupcake from there and she loves it (she ate one for breakfast).

Georgetown Cupcake is definitely good and you can never really go wrong with a cupcake from here, but it really doesn't live up to all the hype surrounding it. The line is always incredibly long at literally every time of the day, so you'll have to be prepared to wait a while. They're also definitely pretty pricey for their size and the ratio of cake to frosting is off. The frosting is too sweet and there's just too much of it. However, all that said, it's still a cupcake and it's still pretty damn good. If you're in the Georgetown neighborhood, you really have to try it out at least once. They also give out free cupcakes if you go to their Facebook page and then ask for their flavor of the day, which is always a huge plus.

Expensive, but my wife seemed to like it... So four stars...

Great variety of cupcakes but be prepared for a long line and wait.

These are some rich cupcakes! I got the strawberry cheesecake, and it felt like it was more of a peice of cheesecake than a cupcake, but with a fun little twist to it. I quite enjoyed it, but it would be difficult to eat more than one of those. Be careful when you come by, I've seen the line go out the door and up the street. I've also walked in, ordered, and sat right down, so it really just depends.

The cupcakes here are moist and rich! The flavors are well balanced and not overly sweet. Before coming, I had been longing to try this store for many years. It did not disappoint. The price of $3.50 per individual cupcake is well worth it because you get a quality product. These cupcakes are some of the best in the world!
