Gatwick Europa Hotel Review

Hotel is nice and cosy. Rooms are spacious and the prices reasonable. Parked the car here for 4 nights and it was worth it.

Overall this is a decent enough hotel. the rooms are the same as any other basic hotel, small tv, small bathroom, tea making facilities. But this short stay was improved by the standards of service that we got reception were very helpful when we needed it the bar and restaurant were extremely helpful and accommodating for some dietary requirements in our party. the set meals were amazing and couldn't be faulted in anyway. I would stay here again and would recommend it over other hotels in the area for affordability, comfort and service.
Note: we were in a large group of over 30 people we may have had extra staff,food or service provided due to the nature of our trip

I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel.
It's like a maze. No room's sign.
The parking is a mess. If it's a busy night you have no space for your car. Mud everywhere and holes at the parking.

Beautiful and convenient location. Really nice building and grounds. Excellent facilities. Very reasonable rates for Rooms.
Bed could have done with a replacement (seen better days and probably a LOT of noisy action.

What you pay is what you get. Run down hotel and more looked like hit hard by COVID at present. Car park is so messy but it was empty, can park anywhere. COVID restrictionists strictly followed inside the hotel with signs all over the place.

Hotel looks so empty and there was no staff to welcome guest. You need to ring bell and wait for receptionist to arrive at reception. Check in at 4pm but we requested an elderly receptionist who arrived after few minutes at front desk for check in at 3.50pm as we arrived bit early. With a loud rude voice she stressed two times check in is at 4pm you need to wait although it looked like the room was ready.

Swimming pool is open from 6.30am to 8pm in the evening but hotel guest will never get a slot as it can be booked by everyone in the area, COVID restriction applies as only 4 people allowed in an one hour slot.

A budget hotel with only basic amenities, a place to sleep, shower and go off. Good for people who work in the local area, not good for family. They got a lift as our Bedroom was in 1st floor. Room was sanitised and looked clean but old. Everything need to be changed and I don t understand why this hotel is still functioning.

Stayed here for an event nearby to cut the commute for few days. Rooms were descent size. Rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. Staff were friendly but since we arrived late they gave off our booked double bed room to some other party so we had to adjust in an another room with a shared bed for one night. Next morning they accomodated us back to our original booked preference. There is ample parking space in the hotel.

Absolutely smashing hotel. The exterior is stunning and the rooms are comfortable, clean and hygenic. The food was delicious and the staff were so kind. 10/10 definetly would recommend.

Basic and dated accommodation but maybe unfair to judge too much during lockdown. The staff were lovely

This is a great and affordable place to stay near London and very near the Gatwick Airport. Indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam rooms & saunas make it a bargain for sure! The rooms are basic but what more do you need?! They have a trouser press in every room! The grounds are lovely and the staff are helpful. I can't say enough about this place so I'll just post a bunch of pics! We arrived 8-14-2018 & stayed through to the 17th; we nearly forgot to visit London!!
