This gem of a place caters to the advancement and enrichment of women. The courses and workshops that women can participate in here is nothing short of incredible, and at such reasonable prices! Fresh Start Women's Foundation is a Godsend for women entering or reentering the workforce, I'm so glad I found this place!

I have been calling since open this morning to find out about support groups from a real person. They don't answer their phones. I keep getting sent to a "Trinka Jones Client Relations Assistant" voicemail. I've tried different prompts and pressed 0 hoping for reception, no luck. How can you be an efficient "resource center" when phone calls aren't answered? I can't imagine how many women are in valuable need of their services and become discouraged because they can't get through, truly unacceptable.

What a well thought out business you have to offer women. So many places that are designed and set up to offer guidance and services and resources to help women who are experiencing hardship, heartache, or horrors in their lives and who im sure feel helpless and hopeless and dont know where to turn . They lack the resources to start their lives over and build a solid indepenent confident future for themselves and their children. You provide actual tangible and intangible solutions that fulfill their actual needs. So many businesses like yours had good intentions but they fall far short. Fresh Start has real assiatance for real woman. Thank you!!

I signed up for the legal Q&A, I followed all the steps to get registered. I watched the video, signed up to be a member. The day of my mtg I showed up at the time stated (5:45)on the dot expecting to go to the Q&A. I was turned away after the client services assistant made me wait 5 minutes while she paused the conversation with me to talk to come worker about tables. Then said I was late. I am terminally ill with cancer and this was a hard thing for me to get here. I tried to explain to this woman (Trinka Jones) that I am disabled and I even had a advocate with me. No I wasn't late until the counter worker Trinka Jones made me wait 5 minutes . I am appalled at Trinka's attitude towards me. And that a woman's center would treat someone like she treated me. I am very sick and just wanted some help. Trinka made me feel like I did not matter when she rudely interrupted me and started conversing with her co worker about tables instead of helping me get to where I needed.

Like any other welfare organizations, this organization basically does nothing for the improvement of the client.. it has been almost an year and a half, and am just trying to be eligible for any assistance.. pointless mandatory sessions that add no value to your life.. I wonder how they get funded on being so useless to the clientele they are supposed to support.. utterly disappointed..

I can't say enough about this miracle of a place. I'm re-entering the work place after 5 years off. They are providing me with the resources I need...learning new skills, rebalancing my life, new work clothing, resume writing, marketing myself online. You name it, they can help you with it. They provide other things like legal assistance too, check out their downloadable calendar of events. It's put out seasonally on their website. I drive really far to get there and I walk away thinking it was worth the drive and my time - every time. Great resource for all women, even those not in crisis.

I'm a Thrive member and I have yet to receive any assistance! I've applied for several scholarship's only to get denied for every attempt for help. You'd think if I'm doing something wrong they would help me. I feel they go out of their way to deny Deny DENY! I NEED MORE HELP NOW THAN EVER

I highly recommend this organization. They offer so many enriching and enlightening programs for women to feel empowered with the knowledge they seek to overcome what trials and testings life has thrown in their path. Staff are approachable, providing a booklet of said programs, along with resource referrels, and talented capable professionals. One basically just needs to make their request known, and staff will do their best to meet the need. So thankful for this organization in our immediate Phoenix area. The thought for one's SAFETY and WELLBEING is very prevalent here . THANK YOU, FRESH START!

Everything any lady would need for Profession/Personal growth and self care. Absolutely love this place. I've met new friends, networked with Valley/local professionals. Fresh Start has social workers who understand circumstances of almost every situation. This is a great place to get young girls ages 11 to 20 started on empowerment and scholarships for all ages.

The word "foundation" and "founding" by definition is "taking the first steps in building or establishing something with provision for future maintenance". The Fresh Start Women's Foundation where I have contributed to their services a while back and is referred to as the FSWF from here after, is a non-profit foundation with the vision to empower women to reach their full potential and to become self-sufficient. The FSWF was formalized in 1992 and has continued to provide services to women including but not limited to the following: - Fund raising and granting money to non-profits serving women in need - Opening of a women's resource center - Developing and implementing a mentoring program - Offering online learning programs - Opening of a career center for women The foundation provides regular yearly reports which depicts the activities and the achievements of FSWF in relation to their stated mission and vision. A useful service for women who need to improve their lives.

An outstanding resource for women in abusive relationships. A lot of support, caring volunteers, and groups to help navigate you in the right direction. Very thoghtful people are in this safe space for women to access computers, therapy, job assistance, and a host of other opportunities. Women that participate in the programs will have the opportunity to no longer be a victim, and thrive as independent and productive people. GO GO GO

Most amazing organization. I felt secure and safe. They offer amazing programs to help women get back on their feet and be prepared to enter the community. A great place to find yourself and empower you to be the best woman possible. You will succeed if you let their directions guide you. I'm very excited for my future.
