Park was clean. Access to all areas. Some of the exhibits get a little crowded but nothing too detrimental to the experience. I feel like the Chimera might need more space though.
Perfect little family zoo. Not too big not overwhelming. Easily walkable with plenty of animals and activities. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Have visited this zoo many times and will continue to return

I love the Ft. Wayne Children Zoo. For those of you complaining about the enterance price, well I thought it was pricey also. So I looked around at the price of other Zoos. Detroit - $15., Binder Park Zoo - $13.00, Toedo - $14.00. I guess you have to realize that these parks are only open 4 months a year but have to feed these animals and take care of these animals all year long. So if I am only going to a zoo for 1 day a year $14.00 really isn't all that bad.

Very nice layout, wheelchair accessible, habitats for animals seemed spacious and well thought out. Food prices at Ray's Grill were actually pretty reasonable for a tourist trap venue, but the drinks are a ripoff and no refills unless you buy the seven plus dollar zoo cup, so if you're pinching pennies bring your own drinks with or stick to water. There are a good amount of water fountains placed throughout the zoo. Wheelchairs are free with a refundable ten dollar deposit, carts for kids are available for a non-refundable rental fee.
The food and drink prices are ridicouls!! Other then that it's a great place!!
Went for Zoofari, was an amazing time! Nothing like going to the zoo, with other adults and having local craft beers and food. I'm sure the animals enjoyed watching the crazy humans shuffle about

My family absolutely loves the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. We have been visiting the zoo now for 3 years. I finally became a member so we will be able to go more often. The layout is great and everything is clean and well maintained. Overall we love everything about this Zoo.

I have been to zoos all over the United States and this zoo is my FAVORITE!! Beautiful, clean, and friendly staff! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed it from open to close!!

This is a nice small zoo that you can easily see in a few hours. It's great for small children who still need naps and is very affordable compared to other zoo's in our area. My kids especially loved the sea lion feeding presentation!

For a smaller zoo compared to some of the major metropolis cities, they have an amazing selection of animals to see and always fun for the kids!
We spent 3 1/2 hours at the zoo and still had more to see! The kids were getting tired, so we will have to check out the areas that we missed next time.

I enjoyed everything!! The only thing I was upset about was NOT being able to c the giraffes. We DID get to touch the sting rays and that was super fun. All in all we had a blast and we would definitely do it again.

This is a wonderful zoo! We always enjoy visiting. Our favorite activity there is feeding the giraffes lettuce. It is a great community treasure!
The experience was well worth the price, and animals are well kept/ enjoy living at the zoo. If you go multiple times, there are also many ways to save money!

It is a great children's zoo. It will be even better when the monkey island is finished with it's makeover.
Great variety of animals and the farm was perfect for my 1.5 yr old daughter. She loved the goats and they were so friendly which was a surprise. Plenty of shaded areas too.

The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is a great place to go with your kids. We enjoyed the train and the log ride and stopped to eat a few times. The animals are great to watch!
Nice zoo! Masks make the day challenging, especially in the heat. Mine was very uncomfortable.
Alot of the animals are not.out. If I would have been a full price customer I would have been upset.
Overall a good zoo, nice size for the size of Ft. Wayne. We expected more kid centered, hands on exhibits since it is labeled a children's zoo. Had a great day there!

This place was amazing for the kids! You have to make sure you keep an eye on your kids. Theirs lots of people there. There is lots of animals and it was a nice visit.

Excellent place for children. Well cared for grounds and exhibits. Animals look healthy and are challenged with different objects in their cages at different times. Many locations to stop and rest, free parking, highly recommend.

Definitely a memorable experience! We got to see so much. The staff was phenomenal our entire time there. The animals were out and about and we had a lot of fun! Definitely recommend feeding the giraffes, petting the sheep, all of the rides (I.e the train, safari lift, log ride), petting STINGRAYS, and if you can try some of the little cafes they have everywhere. Some of the food was surprisingly good.

This place is amazing! You can even be in the fence with kangaroos. It's very open and botanical. A lot of great animals. Well maintained. We really enjoyed it here. We really enjoyed feeding the giraffes.
Really nice and clean but the dip n dots locations close early and freeze machines were broken throughout. The zoo is wonderful just to hot of day to be without cold stuff.
Kids always have fun here. I go once to twice per season so its always exciting for them.
This place was awesome, especially the ski lift ride, you can practically see the whole park from up there! It was pretty hot that day so most of the animals were hiding in the shade but otherwise it was a great Zoo.
Great zoo with some nice attractions. We live in Muncie and it was worth the drive to buy a membership. The penguin area is a lot of fun and the kids love feeding the giraffes (when the token machine isn't broken!).

Nice little zoo. Perfect size to walk the whole thing in an afternoon. Visitors don't seem inclined to wear their masks even though it's required right now.
I'm so proud of our zoo. I have lived in Fort Wayne all my life and I watch our zoo grow and mature through the years. From the African Safari, Indonesia Rain Forest to Australian adventure you will want to see it for yourself.
They have a wide variety of animals and enough activities to keep you and your family entertained for hours.

This place has changed a lot since I was child; however, I think it's mostly for the better. We were able to see almost every animal, and there are still plenty of interactive portions for children.
I love this zoo. The animals were pretty lazy today so it wasn't very exciting but the setup of the zoo is very nice. Love that you van feed the giraffes! Also, the people working in the gift shop are so nice as well. They battled with little swords with my toddler and kept him occupied for a while. You are very nice and had great customer service!
