What an amazing place. It's for kids, but good for adults as well. Very well designed.
My sons pre K class went here for a class trip. They learned history of the area, they got to watch the trains pass by the station, lots of hands on puzzles, played with wooden train sets , lego room and the 3 rooms with diffrent living styles of the area were a hit... They got to take a virtual bike ride threw town to hapersferry and the montains... My self and his dad also learned things we did not know about our home county and we have lived here our entire life... Its a small informative safe place for young kids to learn..
My kids and my toddler nieces and nephews absolutely LOVED this place. My little nephew is 2 and LOVES TRAINS...the fact that he could go up on the bridge and actually WATCH the train go underneath of us just made his day. I love how they have the magnets for the kids to play with all over the walls while they wait for another train to go under the bridge. Even my older children really enjoyed going into the rooms from different eras. The bike room was by far the biggest hit with the older kids. This is an amazing place for families. They have something for kids of all ages to do. I must say, adults can enjoy it too. Thank you for having such a family friendly business. The workers here are extremely sweet people and great with kids. Their kind, gentle manner and great attitude make the experience that much more enjoyable.
Really interesting place with fun, hands-on play spaces for children. My toddler loved the magnetic train in the walkway above the tracks and the log cabin kitchen downstairs.
