My first visit, to see a concert. The venue is HUGE!! So many people! Nice, I thought, except the sound system isn't the best, it was like the music was too LOUD. But otherwise it was alright. The drinks are $15 up can maybe grab a Beer for $11. I decided against a Drink because it was $22! Hell, before I got to the venue, I'd bought a bottle if Tito's for $21 & change, didn't make since to purchase a #Cup of something for that amt. Not to me!!

Updated bathrooms with vacant/occupied signs are wonderful. I love the recycling options at all of the garbage cans. The lawn was better kept green than brown, i love the effort made to keep the grass green. And the additional acreens for the lawn audience shown wonderful resolution.

Nice place overall. Decent food selection, awesome staff. Beer is hella expensive $13.50 for a 24oz can. Getting out of the parking lot is an absolute nightmare from hell. They really need a second way out of it. I'd only come back to this place out of desperation.

The food and drinks were so extremely expensive that we won't go back. They have the highest prices I've seen anywhere. For example, a beer was $16. A can of Strawverita that is $3 at the store, $16. This is gouging to its finest. Also, sat about two thirds of the way back in the lawn and feel like the concert volume was background music. Didn't even feel like I was at a concert.

Great venue for music. Easy to get to and park. Intelligently set up to make the experience more about the music than walking miles to find your seat. Very convenient. Leaving wasn't the easiest, but there were well over 16000 people at the show I went to. Definitely would see another show there.

The entertainment for the night was the Doobie Brothers and main attraction Santana. Why wouldn't you love it. Large crowd and getting out of the place was a real challenge. Some people are always in a hurry and don't really care about other people than themselves.

Shortend shows due to local noise curfew, low show volume, no pre-show tailgating, 13-15$ for a beer! Blind spots in pavilion seating, for shows that are more than 75% sold, exiting can take a half an hour or more. Positives- nice view of sunset, great amount of space for festivals (Warped tour, etc), ok beer selection.

I really want to like this place but no. It's in a strange area, so forget about taking an Uber or Lyft. Can't take a limo either unless you want to rent the vehicle for 4 or 5 hours. The people are nice and it's not a bad place to see a show... the bathrooms are in need of repair.

Went to see Lana del Rey a year ago at this venue. Have seen a ton of shows pop up that I would love to see live. Only problem is this venue is a garbage fire on its best day. Getting in and out of this place is the equivalent of being stuck on the I-90 during rush hour on Armageddon. A show played in hell in July might be nicer than going to a show here. If you read the other reviews yes the weather was aweful and the workers moods showed that may in Chicago is still winter. Getting in was a mess and looked more like a scene from the walking dead. Giant zombie pile at the front gate with poor organization at best. The gravel pit and non-marked parking area certainly leaves something to be desired. People were frantically trying to set off the alarms on their cars to find their rides during a sunami. The sound quality of the venue and setup might be the worst of all points. Opener was grimes for the show. Basically couldn't hear a word she said. Yes she is hard to understand to begin with but you add in terrible acoustics and it sounded like a foreign gibberish language. Lana knocked it out of the park. She was haunting and a must go see when she plays anywhere including a set in hell in June 2016. Don't worry, you don't have to die to see that show! Gridlock to get out! All the workers that direct traffic suddenly disappeared at the end of the show. Now just imagine, bad weather, bad attitudes, and 100 lanes trying to merge into 1 lane. That is what could be experienced leaving this venue. Just mind it's probably 11pm and you will be lucky to get out in 2 hours. Don't plan on going anywhere. Wait were there any consession stands? I'm sure someone mixed in a comment or two about great consessions. Avoid even if Michael Jackson, Prince, Elvis, Nirvana and The Beetles play a show here in the future stay away at all costs!

Hollywood Casino rocks the music world. There were 4 of us to enter. No problems. These events always have lines. I felt it went smoothly. Once inside, we had a blast. We had lawn seats and b4 we could even spread our blnkt, we were asked if we would like to go to the pit. Of course we went. 2 of us in our 60's. 2 of us in our 20's. Mostly young in the pit. We all would do this again if given the opportunity. We ate and drank and used the facilities. EVE, can't do the backwards E, rocked. Gwen, well what can you say about such a talented woman, she put the dance in our pants. Love her dance group. Am going to try some of those moves, 60 yr old speaking. Her band, mind blown.
