About Fibratech
Fibratech is working on an ultralight automotive wheel. There was no major weight reduction since the introduction of forged aluminum wheels in the early 1960s. Their goal is to deliver a wheel offering the following success criteria: - 15% wheel mass reduction resulting in better performance and mileage (approximately 6% more range - especially important in the EV's) - 30% increase in stiffness resulting in better handling - competitive pricing when comparing to forged aluminum wheels
