I attended the Drone Flying Course with Eastwood Media and Chris was excellent, he turned me from a novice to a proficient Drone Flyer in no time.
Thanks so much, this course covers everything really well and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about Drone flying.

Coming from a novice background, I wanted to get into drone flying and do it right and become an expert.
I found Eastwood Media (Llandegla North Wales) a professionally run business and offering excellent drone training courses.
I joined them on a two days course, they offered step by step tutoring to build me from zero knowledge to 95% confidence score, and taught me everything around flying safely and best ways to shoot photos and videos.
I will personally offer thanks to Chris Davies and his wife for their warm reception.
Chris's approach, care and interaction works very well, it left me with the feeling of satisfaction and confidence.
Chris's attitude for no letting you go without a confidence score is the yardstick to measure him and I trust, most if not all his training participants will agree to.
I would highly recommend Eastwood Media training to anyone who wants to fly a drone safely.

You'd be hard pushed to find a better introduction to flying drones than this course. Chris, who runs the course is a fantastic teacher who covers all aspects, from drone construction to good practice whilst flying to the legalities of where and when to fly. There is ample opportunity to get hands on experience flying drones and I can guarantee that once completed you will have the confidence needed to safely fly your own drone. I cannot recommend this course enough and will definitely be using Eastwood Media in the future to take my drone flying to the next level.

Five stars for a professionally delivered course. Chris is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his subject. If you need some good sound advice and a well rounded intro to drone flying this is the course for you. You are at the mercy of the UK weather which may mean you don't get as much flying time as you might want. But still well worth going for it!

Eastwood Media are an iconic media company who will deliver truly stunning results. Its very hard to properly put into words how good the work I have seen from Eastwood is. They get a shot but increase the magic of the shot by 10% compared to the best cinematographers out there.

I recently attended the Flying Drones 1 course with Eastwood media. I have always wanted to try flying and filming with drones but was a bit hesitant.

Chris was able to give me all the information I needed to be confident with flying Drones safely.

It was a massive help learning how the pro's do it and I am sure it will be a massive help as I take the hobby further and maybe take the next stage to become a professional myself.

The other great thing was being taught by industry professionals with a real pedigree in filming. This meant they could give valuable insight into the industry. They also had a very wide range of commercial drones we could try and experience, which was amazing as they all feel different to fly.

I now have the confidence to go out and enjoy this hobby and am no longer nervous or anxious about crashing.

I was worried that the course might be a bit academic and very classroom-focused like most providers, but it was a lot of fun, and we did lots of practical flying which really helped me to get confident with drones and the different way to operate them. The other really nice thing was how relaxed and encouraging it was. I felt at all time that I was getting the best advice and training, but it felt friendly and personal, which was so refreshing and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the course and think it is fantastic value either for a hobbyist like me or people who are considering a career using commercial drones. Once I have had enough experience, I would love to do the next level course with the team.

I have just attended a two day drone flying course under the guidance of Chris. I recommend this session to anyone new to using a drone. Chris gives systematic guidance on the correct and safe way to operate a drone using the drones that he provides for you. He gives basic instruction on the legalities and can answer any questions about the practicalities of drone flying. He is an expert on drone photography and filming with a great deal of experience flying drones for the media and film productions. The course is informal but very informative with lots of hands on flying with some very good drones. The practical flying area is very safe and ideal for the purpose. Thanks for a great couple of days Chris!
