The service was fast and attentive. The Blue Ribbon burger was great. The cheese curds, french fries and sweet potato fries were piping hot with tasty dips. Great Mother's day lunch with my children.

Dotty's was a recommendation from the hotel concierge. It was not a disappointment! The GM was a rockstar and the owner was on site. A Saturday nite and they were training a new cook, new server, and new host. The management was clear and concise. The coaching of new staff was subtle but effective. Bartenders were amazing and worked together with such fluidity and openly expressed appreciation for the others work and help. This place is a class act...and MUST stop for anyone visiting Madison!! Thanks for the great experience. Oh and the cheese curds were great!!!
Loved it! Came in after seeing an ad featuring some gorgeous hands holding a burger. We were not disappointed! GREAT burger!! Lovely, friendly staff.
Amazing atmosphere, amazing food! Cheese curds with the honey mustard dip are the best! Got a burger with their bbq sauce that was so good.
Literally the best burgers imaginable. We stop almost every time we're in Madison. Get the Blue Ribbon. It's a winner for a reason. Cream cheese puck in the middle of an onion ring, topped with BBQ sauce. It's seriously amazing. Upgrade to sweet potato fries, which come with a delicious slightly spicy dipping sauce. They also had great curbside service during the covid-19 pandemic and clearly cared for the safety of their customers.
Finest food, super nice staff, regularly great ambience. They charge reasonable pricing and the food quality is fantastic. 5 stars.
First rate experience. My son and I were only at DD s for a short time because we had to catch a flight. We re cheese curd fans and wanted to compare some from Madison vs those we ve enjoyed in IL and PA, among other places.
The curds were excellent but even more importantly, the atmosphere was charming and the servers were cheerful and kind. My son spilled a big Coke and the bartender and others jumped in to help. I hope to go back again for a full meal next time we re in town.
I love this place. I kind of found it by accident and I am stoked I did. Their claim is best burgers in the area, and they were not kidding. This has to be one of the best meals I have had while visiting Madison. I started with cheese curds, cause well, Wisconsin. I was super excited to see they were made with white cheddar which I enjoyed. All in all you can't go wrong here. The food is fantastic, the staff is super fun and a pleasure to talk to, and the prices are awesome! I truly hope to make it back here some day again.
Best burgers in Wisconsin. Hand made paties, locally sourced fresh buns and pickles made daily. Great tap list, classic UW Madison ambiance. The Melting Pot burger, a Spotted Cow beer and a big basket of fries for the table, life doesn't get much better.
