They have resurfaced our pool from start to finish, upgraded our pool lights with wonderful LED s, installed a safety handrail, upgraded our gas heater and provided outstanding maintenance of our pool. It is a wonderful family company and are always prompt to respond to any questions or issues that arise with our pool. Our water is always beautiful and ready for swimming! With so many pool service companies around, I m thrilled Doc Dean s pools was recommended to us. Amanda runs the office side of things and Mike does the work. Amanda is extremely quick to respond to your emails and calls. They communicate throughout the whole process. Estimates are given. Work is fine when promised. Their price for adding a gas heater to our home was a few hundred dollars cheaper than other estimates. You ll be very happy you hired Doc Dean s Pools.
I would highly recommend Doc Deans Pools, Michael and Amanda are just awesome folks, who are well organized, and work with the pool-owners well. I had a pool heater that was broken, Michael came by and fixed the issue, walked me through the cause and the right approach to fixing it well. He also showed me how to get the heater going manually. It's working now and we have hot water coming into the pool ! Thank you so much for coordinating well and getting us working again. My nephews and I will be able to enjoy the pool this weekend thanks to you both :)

I've used another service for the last 3 years (let's call them P-A-P) and finally got fed up with them putting chlorine into my saltwater pool and never using salt. the service was getting so bad my pool was turning green and they would always blame it on the weather or the pollen in the air. I started calling around to the other service providers in the area. That's when I spoke with Amanda from Doc Dean's Pools. From the very first phone call I felt assured that she knew what she was talking about and from the sound of her tone, she was really proud of her work. Without charging me a penny she came and did the first assessment on my pool, let me know exactly what was going on, so I took the chance and hired her. Amanda has my pool looking brand new. Mind you, my pool is only three years old and it's screened in so you can imagine why I was so upset on how my pool looked with the previous service and why I feel so blessed to have found Amanda and Doc Dean's Pools. Doc Deans Pools did great work for us! They responded quickly and consistently. Mike came to diagnose our pool and James called to explain the quote. The equipment was old when we bought the house, so several parts needed to be replaced. We scheduled the service and Mike came out on a rainy day to fix it. He was very knowledgeable and explained the equipment. The whole process took about a week. Now our pool is beautiful! We really appreciate your speedy response!

Our pool/spa heater has been sick for quite some time now. We don't use it much because... well... Florida. But we finally decided it needed to be fixed and reached out to a couple of companies who had good reviews. We chose Doc Dean because they responded to chat messages quickly and were able to work us in quickly, which was helpful for our busy schedules. Mike, the repair technician, was on time, kind, knowledgeable and was quick and effective in diagnosing a problem that had been alluding me for months. Further, he went ahead and made the necessary repairs with manufacturer specific spare parts I already had on hand. I had another pool company tell me that even if I had the parts on hand they wouldn't use them, so I was really relieved that Mike was able to use the brand new part I had already purchased. Used to have a splash and dash pool service and finally got tired of a green pool. I chose Doc Dean s Pools for their professionalism and thoroughness. They really know what they re doing. I think they d talk all day about my pool water levels if I d let them. I ve had their service for a couple months now. The pool hasn t been this clean and water this soft in years. I m glad I found this service.
I bought a home with a pool. I wanted to change to a heat pump pool heater and talk about regular pool service. I called several pool service companies (almost always 'leave a message') and never got a response from three and two others would set up an appointment time and not show or call until MANY hours later and then I never got a email estimate from either of the companies. I called Doc Deans Pools and a real person actually answered the phone! We set a time the next day for someone to stop by and look at the pool and he actually did show up! Not only that, but he was very knowledgeable, polite, nice and very reasonable on the price. The next day I had a email estimate for the heat pump. I bought a heat pump heater from them and so far so good on the service. I would give them a call in your first round of trying to find a good pool service company.
I recently had the folks at Doc Dean Pools come out to my rental property to resurface and retile my pool. They did an incredible job transforming an outdated (and green) pool to like new condition. They were the only company that would visit the pool daily to ensure the chemistry in the pool was accurate and that the surface was brushed consistently. Everyone else either said it was the owner's responsibility or charged an arm and a leg to do it. There was a minor issue that happened with their subcontractors, but Amanda & the Doc Dean Pools team quickly addressed it and remedied the situation to ensure my complete satisfaction. They also repiped my pool equipment, put down a new concrete pad, and set up a fantastic water fixture that makes the property look modern. I now use them on a weekly basis to visit the pool based off their reliability. As a rental property owner, that's the one thing I always look for. I would definitely recommend these folks to anyone looking for resurfacing of their pool, pool maintenance, or pool equipment.

I hired Doc Dean's Pools to install a new RayPak pool heater. They were excellent! The heater was hard to come by due to manufacturing delays, but they fought for me to get one and be one of the first customers in the area with this specific heater. Doc Dean's replaced a busted heater for the spa and pool, and got it all web enabled so I can manage it from my phone. It couldn't have gone any better, and I wish all vendors conducted business this professionally. First I got an estimate in short order, while taking the time to understand my needs. We discussed several options, aimed at the end goals I had in mind. The estimate was very reasonable and exact to the grand total. I am more than satisfied by what I got for the price. The work was done in one day, true to the scheduled date. I was given a full review of the system, and can always reach out if needed. Bottom line, these are good people doing great work. I will use them again at every opportunity.
I called them for a quote. First they never show up or called. When I called back next day they just gave me a BS excuse. Then when the guy showed up, he took the measurements but wrote nothing down and over measured like I did not already know my measurements. Then I never heard back from them. And each time I call back it was always a new BS excuse. If I did not know better I would definitely say that those people a very unprofessional with no regards. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Doc Dean's Pools is the best pool service company in Central Florida and possibly the State of Florida. I have had their cleaning service for many years and it is excellent ... all year long. They also were my contractor for a pool resurfacing about 7 or 8 years ago and the surface looks as good today as when it was put in. Whenever I have any type of problem or issue they respond immediately and fix the problem fast. If you are looking for pool services ... Wonderful company and employees! Did a beautiful job resurfacing my pool. I had them retile, add a new light and add a handrail in addition to resurfacing. They did very well explaining the process and were very patient answering my questions. Additionally, they maintained my pool for 7 days after the work was completed. What company does that? Usually they give you the directions, collect their money and run. I was so pleased I switched from my regular pool company for cleaning and am now using Doc Deans. Couldn t be happier!
