Orthodontic coverage does not cover any option that does not go directly through an orthodontist's office. This is a great policy for protecting orthodontists' businesses and a very poor policy for Delta's actual paying customers. Would advise Delta to reconsider this policy.
Seems like they have no one that's in network, so frustrating. Or you have to drive hours to find someone. I have 2 special needs children and they have to have extra care. I want a reputable company and dentist taking care of my children. Not some silly nilly dentist who has never worked with special needs children. I'm appalled by how their customer service reps act as well. Like everything was my fault and i should've had an in network provider. Like where can I find one. Wouldn't help me with that either. Their all like ask your ex! Like really.
I have had Delta Dental Insurance for the past 12 years through a company that I used to work for. When I left that company, I lost my dental insurance with Delta Dental . I knew I didn t just want to go with any dental insurance company, because I knew that Delta Dental has the best insurance plan for me as an individual ! I m so happy to now have them back as my dental insurance company! And I want to thank Nathan McConnell, who responded to me in setting me all back up with Delta Dental.
Their customer service is rude. The customer service rep interrupted and gave me attitude. Thinking my issue is a technical issue, no I need to reset it, but there's no user friendly way unless you call. Hire better people to serve your customers. You're getting paid by us so respect them and actually train them. She was useless and couldn't get me where I needed to go. If you can avoid them choose another plan, avoid them like the plague.
They go above and beyond making paying claims timely and difficult. Not a fan.
Wish I could give ZERO stars. New enrollee and I hate them already. 45 minutes, 3 different phone calls, and nobody knows anything. Great. :)
Worst dental insurance I ve ever had. They lied and said I had a lapse in coverage just to not pay a claim. Then I went to the dentist for a cleaning and had to pay $200 out of my own pocket for a cleaning!! I really need to talk the company into changing dental insurance.
Customer service has gone down hill. Laura was very rude today. I had a few patients I needed assistance with and I was speaking fast enough I guess and she made a snide comment how 25 people are holding. Very disappointed, regardless of Covid, it's not an excuse for kindness.
Zero stars. Delta Dental used to be a very reliable insurance Company. In the last few years they have changed. Unless you are having a basic cleaning, they almost always deny any claim submitted
I used to have Delta Dental with a former employer and recently have been re-enrolled through a new job. I couldn t get into my account since the system thought I was already signed up through an old email address. Everyone I talked to while trying to figure this out was knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. The problem didn t take long to fix and I was glad they were so easy to reach!
